The family of slain amapiano DJ Oupa DJ Sumbody Sefako has told Daily Sun that they are waiting to hear that their son's killer has been arrested.

They said that they pray that he gets his revenge from beyond the grave but said that in the wake of his death, they have not been receiving weird calls or threats.

Motlakaladi said, We hope that God and our ancestors intervene so the perpetrators get what they deserve. At the moment, we are waiting to hear that they are arrested The family is still traumatised and mourning his death.

The publication also reports that the aunt added that the killers would never take his talent, even though he is gone.

RITUAL TO HELP SUMBODY FIGHT BEYOND THE GRAVE? Lasy month on 20 November the family of the owner of Ayepyep lifestyle was seen fetching his spirit from the scene of the where he was brutally murdered.

Some believe that this practice may have been to ensure that the DJ comes back to avenge his death from those that killed him brutally.

According to traditionalists now that the ceremony has been carried out, the people responsible for his death may die the same violent death if not worse.

In the video shared on TikTok, the family can be seen crying inconsolable while performing the cleansing ritual.
