Big Breakout Song - DJ Qness ft December Streets Can You Feel It

December Streets are an Indie Pop-Rock band from Pretoria, and formed in late 2009. They have performed: VredeFest, Splashy Fen, Rocking the Daisies, SA's Big 5, Oppikoppi, Aardklop, and Up The Creek.

DJ Qness is a 31yr old house DJ from Vereeniging, Gauteng, who incorporates African elements and vocals interwoven with dancefloor-focused house, pop and electronic dance music.

Mosaik is a 30 yr old Hip Hop star from Swaziland with musical inspiration drawn from Classical to Traditional music, and he has won awards for Album of the Year, Hip Hop Album of the Year and one of his songs got a nomination for Song of the Year.

So if December Streets is fused with house DJ QNess, and Swazi hip hop artist Mozaik, then the result should be an uplifting indie house song for summer in the Southern Hemisphere. That is exactly what has come out of this unique fusion in the Coke Studio. A song that has a distinctive South African flavour with a universal appeal. A song that is this week's BIG BREAKOUT SONG on scatterlingsofafrica.net.
