Fernando Navarrete recibe el Premio Panorama a Toda una VidaEl presidente de la Academia de Televisi n, Manuel Campo Vidal, fue el encargado junto a la actriz Concha Velasco de entregar este reconocimiento al veterano realizador.
El director y realizador Fernando Navarrete, recibi anoche, durante la ceremonia de los Awards overview presentados por la acad mica Patricia Betancort, el Premio Toda una Vida que concede Panorama Audiovisual.
El galard n reconoce una trayectoria de m s de cincuenta a os ligada a la historia de la televisi n en Espa a, donde ha sido un innovador en el uso de la tecnolog a, el lenguaje y los formatos.
El presidente de la Academia de Televisi n, Manuel Campo Vidal, fue el encargado junto a la actriz Concha Velasco de entregar este reconocimiento al veterano realizador en el marco de Audiovisual BIT 2018.
Campo-Vidal compar en su discurso a los pioneros de la televisi n como Navarrete con astronautas que exploraban nuevos caminos en lo que calific como la generaci n m tica de la televisi n . Por su parte, Concha Velasco, en uno de los momentos m s emotivos de la ceremonia, afirm Fernando Navarrete, yo soy lo que soy en televisi n gracias a ti .
En su agradecimiento Navarrete, que ejerce la vicepresidencia de la Academia de Tv, hizo un repaso a la evoluci n de la televisi n y como quienes como l en la d cada de los 70 y 80 produc an de forma artesanal y con una tecnolog a rudimentaria programas que segu an millones de espectadores. Tambi n record c mo se gest el primer debate electoral organizado por la Academia de la Televisi n cuando veteranos del medio lograron poner de acuerdo a todos los partidos pol ticos para en apenas tres semanas organizar un evento de ese calado.
Navarrete tambi n quiso remarcar que pese a la diversidad de pantallas en las que hoy podemos ver televisi n as como a la avanzada tecnolog a de la que disponemos hoy en producci n, sigue reinando el contenido con informaci n, entretenimiento y espect culo.
Durante la entrega de este galard n se tuvo un emocionado recuerdo para el periodista y acad mico Jos Mar a I igo, toda una leyenda de la televisi n que falleci en Madrid el pasado s bado y que junto a Navarrete form un t ndem nico en la producci n de m ticos programas como Estudio Abierto, Direct simo o Esta noche, Fiesta .

Ejerci como Qu mico del Vidrio en FEVIHSA hasta 1966 en que concurri al III Curso de Realizaci n organizado por el Servicio de Formaci n de TVE, donde consigui el n mero 1 de dicha promoci n y fue diplomado el 30 de junio de 1966 por el Director General de Radiodifusi n y Televisi n. T cnico de radiodifusi n, Especialista en Emisiones y Producci n Titulado por el Ministerio de Informaci n y Turismo en 1973.
A lo largo de su trayectoria profesional ha trabajado como realizador de Televisi n Espa ola desde 1967 hasta 1989, que solicit la excedencia para trabajar en la empresa privada. Fund la productora P.N.N., S.A. de la que es presidente y director. Ha producido y realizado programas, fuera del ente p blico, en Jap n (Nippon Televisi n), Brasil (Televisi n Educativa), Francia (Radio Televisi n de Montecarlo), Argentina (Canal 7), Suecia, Dinamarca, Cuba, EE.UU., Antena 3 TV, Televisi n de Galicia, Canal Sur Televisi n y Telecinco.

Presidente de (A.R.T.) Asociaci n de Realizadores de Televisi n y miembro del Patronato de la Fundaci n Audiovisual para la Normalizaci n Social (FANS). Miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de Televisi n desde septiembre de 2006, en 2010 es nombrado vicepresidente de la Instituci n.
En 2008 negoci y co-dirigi los Debates Electorales entre Jos Luis R. Zapatero y Mariano Rajoy. En 2011 el Debate entre Alfredo P rez Rubalcaba y Mariano Rajoy. En 2015 el Cara a Cara entre Pedro S nchez y Mariano Rajoy y en 2016 el Debate a Cuatro entre Mariano Rajoy, Pedro S nchez, Albert Rivera y Pablo Iglesias. As mismo, es Diplomado en Altos Estudios de la Defensa Nacional.
