The Spatialisation Revolution

The SPAT Revolution software is the most comprehensive and sophisticated real-time Immersive 3D Audio engine ever designed. Based on years of research by the Acoustic and Cognitive Spaces Team at Ircam and Flux::, Sound and Picture Development, SPAT Revolution is a profound experience and product innovation among professional audio tools. It provides acoustics simulation with multiple rooms and localization for surround and multi-channel use. It also supports an unlimited number of input/output channels, sources and transcoders.

SPAT Revolution is a stand-alone application, with full DAW software integration. It providing an unlimited number of inputs and a wide range of input stream formats such as: Channel Based, High Order Ambisonic up to 7 order, Binaural, Transaural, MS, A-Format, B-Format, UHJ, Eigenmike. Its unlimited number of outputs are compatible with any kind of speaker arrangement including Stereo, 5.1, Cube, Auro 3D, DTS, Atmos, NHK 22.2.

In addition, a wide range of input and output transcoders are provided, including; Channel Based Splitter/ Aggregator, HOA To HOA, HOA To Channel Based, A-Format to B-Format, A/B-Format To Channel Based, B- Format To UHJ, UHJ To B-Format, MS To Channel Based, Binaural To Transaural, Transaural To Binaural, Eigenmike To Channel Based.

To further enhance the creative workflow, SPAT Revolution offers a range of additional features such as: HRTF Sofa support, VST effects support on sources and master bus (fully automatable), OSC support, Multiple 3D Vue, Timecode sync and full Python script support.

SPAT Revolution is available for Mac OS X and Windows, with Hardware I/O support for ASIO (Windows) and Core Audio (Mac OS X) and DAW software integration with input/output plug-ins (VST/AudioUnit/AAX) supporting up to 64 channels per plug-in.
