Ningbo s outbound tourism per capita consumption reaches 7,76 yuan

According to an authoritative report, 344 million Chinese people made domestic trips during the Spring Festival with a per capita consumption of 1,230 yuan while over 6 million people traveled abroad with a total expenditure of 100 billion yuan. Ningbo's outbound tourism per capita consumption reached 7,716 yuan, ranking 7 in China. It is learnt from some travel agencies like Ningbo Kanghui Travel Service Co., Ltd that tourist price is much lower after the Spring Festival, which could be said as a sharp plunge. During the Spring Festival, tourism took a large part of Chinese people's expenditure. As the statistics show, 344 million Chinese people made domestic trips and the country's tourism revenue totaled 423.3 billion yuan that is to say, the tourism per capita consumption reached 1,230 yuan. The expenditure of the outbound tourism is also amazing. Over 6 million people made outbound trips, and Chinese Spring Festival becomes a prime time for world traveling. According to the data collected by Ctrip Company about their products, 59% tourists chose the outbound trips while 41% chose to have domestic trips. The trips went as far as to the South Pole and the highest order amount reached 500,000 yuan. What are the provinces and cities that have the highest outbound tourism consumption level? Shanghai and Bejing ranked first and second with per capita consumptions of 10,380 yuan and 10,196 yuan respectively. Ningbo ranked seven with 7,716 yuan with a year-on-year increase of 11.8%. What are the most popular destinations? According to the authoritative report, the top ten are Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Phuket, Seoul, Bali, Tokyo, Osaka, Taibei and jeju. Ningbo tourists' favorite destinations are the Southeast Asian islands. Ningbo Daren Tourism Inc., Ltd sent 4,800 people abroad during the Spring Festival. The responsible man said that there were throngs of people in Boracay, Saipan and Phuket. Many local pleasure facilities in Boracay were very hot at that time. Daren also provided chartered planes in Ningbo, as Boracay was such a hot destination that the flights have all been booked before February 14. As soon as the Spring Festival passed, all tourism products' prices started a downward plunge. From February to the Qingming Festival, the prices will have fallen by 70%. After the Spring Festival, traveling prices have fallen greatly including plane tickets and hotels and tourism products will fall back to their normal prices on February 6. Take a Ctrip product a four-day backpacking for example. The highest price was 5,300 yuan on January 29, while on February 16, that will only be 2,541 yuan. The responsible man of Ctrip said that most of the outbound tours' prices reached the summit in the three days before the Spring Festival and reached the bottom at the end of February and March. On a price list of a travel agency in Ningbo, the tour price to Thailand went from 7,000 yuan during the Spring Festival to 3,000 yuan after the festival, Sabah from 10,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan, Japan from 7,000 10,000 yuan to 4,000 yuan
