Businesswoman Melany Mel Viljoen and Rhona Eramus explained their issues with each other on the second part of the Real Housewives van Pretoria reunion - which aired on KykNet on Thursday 12 January.

MEL VILJOEN ADDRESSES ISSUES' WITH RHONA ERASMUS On the second part of the Real Housewives van Pretoria reunion, Mel Viljoen addressed where the drama between herself and Rhona Eramus stemmed from.

Mel explained that she and Rhona are both opinionated and believe that they are right. So, it was a recipe for disaster.

In retrospect, my problem has been that, I have never been able to express clearly what I believe to be her issues with me. And I've heard that same thing about this woman who apparently dislikes me. I was aware of it, she said.

But I was trying to figure out what the problem was as we went along. So, that seems a little messy doesn't it? It sounds like we were just all over the place. So, she's highly opinionated and it appears that I am as well, she continued.

And I believe I am right and she knows she's right. You see.So, I believe it is a recipe for disaster, she added.

RHONA WEIGHS IN The former teacher explained that she and Mel disagree on a variety of issues.

I believe I stated it at the outset, Mel and my principles on a variety of issues disagree like day and night. It's the contrast between our dark and light looks, she said.

Rhona went on to explain that when she was growing up it was normal for her family to argue and engage in debates.

When I was growing up, it was normal for my family to argue about things. My father was a lawyer. So we genuinely enjoyed getting engaged in debates, and see who has the best case or won, she continued.

When there's conflict, all I'm trying to do, and I can't say I always succeed, is to play the ball rather than the man. So, rather than getting personal, I like to highlight some issue or something that is already publicly known, she added.
