Triveni Digital today announced that the company will lend its ATSC 3.0 technology prowess to a webinar session at the TVOT LIVE! virtual conference hosted by Interactive TV Today (ITVT) and The TV of Tomorrow Show (TVOT). During the virtual session, Triveni Digitals senior vice president of advanced technology development, Mark Corl, will moderate a panel discussion on ATSC 3.0 Data-Delivery Opportunities. The session will take place Wednesday, Jan. 12 from 1:35 to 2:15 p.m. PST.
The ATSC 3.0 data delivery platform provides an inherently more efficient way of distributing content to a large number of people simultaneously, said Corl. While the ATSC 3.0 platform is the most effective way to deliver high-quality television content to large audiences, it can also be used to distribute data for a multitude of other uses, such as automotive, e-learning, healthcare, and agriculture. Im excited to moderate this panel of esteemed NextGen TV experts and explore the emerging ATSC 3.0 revenue opportunities available to broadcasters and other data providers.
The TVOT LIVE! webinar will examine how ATSC 3.0 enables a powerful new broadcast video distribution platform while facilitating the delivery of non-real-time data. Panelists will include distinguished industry experts John Hane, president at BitPath; Madeleine Noland, president at ATSC; and Peter Riordan, head of worldwide broadcast GTMS, media and entertainment at Amazon Web Services. During the session, Corl will guide a discussion on how to best leverage the new opportunities NextGen TV creates for innovators in various industries.
Corl is currently the chair of the ATSC 3.0 Specialist Group on Interactive Content, the chair of the ATSC India Implementation Team, and a member of the ATSC board of directors. As a leader in the digital TV industry with over 20 years of experience and extensive contributions in product engineering and architecture, Corl brings an unparalleled knowledge of ATSC 3.0 to the conference session.
