Bloomberg and Bulgaria On Air have partnered to launch a new Bulgarian-language business news service. Bloomberg TV Bulgaria is scheduled to launch imminently and the channel will be available on all major cable and satellite networks across the country, with content focusing on in-depth coverage of Bulgaria's business and economic development.
The launch of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria is a major milestone for Bulgaria ON AIR and the wider Investor Media Group, adding a standalone premium business channel to our portfolio of dedicated financial websites. Information is crucial for all businesses. That's why I believe Bloomberg TV Bulgaria, the first international business and finance channel localised for a Bulgarian audience, will work to the greatest benefit of our community, said Viktoria Mitkova, executive director of Bulgaria On Air media group.
With the launch of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria, we are continuing our mission to improve the financial literacy of Bulgarian citizens. Localising the global economic news agenda, and the role Bulgarian business plays in that, is key to the success of our new channel added Nikolina Dimitrova, executive director of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria.
The launch comes after more than two years of cooperation between Bulgaria On Air and global business and financial news provider Bloomberg Media, under a content agreement which saw Bloomberg Television serving as the primary provider of business and financial news content for Bulgaria On Air.
