Loft London and Zodiak Rights in alliance talks

Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media and Loft London, has entered into exclusive talks surrounding Zodiak Rights' post production facility. The potential alliance would see Loft London taking over Zodiak Rights' in-house post production business in London, meaning Zodiak Rights' post staff and Kensington facilities would relocate to Loft London from 1 January 2014.

Loft London would be awarded a five year post production, content management and content distribution contract with Zodiak Rights. The negotiations follow an agreement made earlier this year for Loft London to supply disaster recovery, business continuity and QC services to Zodiak Rights. The new agreement would extend these services to encompass all aspects of Rights' content processing distribution needs.

As the Zodiak Rights business continues to grow so do our post production requirements, said Sara Wookey, COO of Zodiak Rights. This potential agreement promises to be a strategic alliance which will allow us to manage this increased workload whilst taking advantage of Loft London's expertise and state of the art facilities. Loft's Cubix platform will allow Zodiak Rights to view, manage and monitor workflows as well as initiate fulfilment orders from their global locations. Loft London has also introduced a file based QC and approval workflow for all Zodiak Rights' content in addition to supplying a bi-location disaster recovery solution for the company's entire content library. Loft London is also providing Zodiak Rights with a business continuity capacity for the company at Loft London's Chiswick facility.
