The Skeem Saam January teasers reveal that Lehasa and Khwezi will receive unpleasant news about their baby and Pretty will have second thoughts about him.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH LEHASA'S BABY? The Skeem Saam TVSA January teasers also indicate that Pretty will get frustrated with Lehasa. His baby mama Khwezi will get bad news about their unborn baby.

SKEEM SAAM': WHO IS THE PRODIGAL SON? The teasers also reveal that a prodigal son will return home and reconcile with his parents.

Though the TVSA January teasers don't reveal who it is, we can guess that it could either be Leeto or Thabo Maputla.

Actor Cornet Mamabolo, who played the role of Thabo Maputla for a decade took a break from Skeem Saam in October 2021 to focus on his business.

The actor took to social media this week to reflect on his character as Lerumo in The River.

Sunday World reports that the star said he felt blessed to have told the story and was happy to be a child again and bring the character to life.

Lerumo was that role that I knew I had to fall in love with in order for the audience to genuinely hate. It's one of those roles that if the audience really loves you for it then it simply means you have done a bad job as an actor. It's a role that is exciting for an actor but distasteful for the audience, he wrote.
