Government Video Expo 2013, Washington DC, Booth #829 : Ikegami, a leader in HD cameras and production equipment for TV broadcasters, networks, and other HD content creators, will be exhibiting several key products at GV Expo 2013. The show is being held December 4-5 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC.
The show will provide the first look at two new Ikegami ultra high sensitivity cameras. The ISD-2500HD is a single-chip color HD/SD camera featuring a newly-developed 1.3 Mega-pixel ultra high sensitivity CMOS sensor which achieves superb picture quality and wide dynamic range. The camera features a very compact design with low power consumption, and is ideal for surveillance of rivers, coastal regions, and borders.
Ikegamis ultra high sensitivity black & white single-chip HD/SD camera also employs an ultra high sensitivity CMOS sensor. Like the ISD-2500HD, the sensor is based on a new principle of photon counting imaging technology, which does not use a photomultiplier. The result of the new design is a wide dynamic range with super-high sensitivity.
The Ikegami HDL-23 is an ultra-compact POV HDTV camera equipped with three high performance 2.1 million pixel progressive CMOS sensors. The HDL-23 provides superb color reproduction, and its optical block camera head is designed for minimum size and weight, making it ideal for a wide range of POV applications. The HDL-23s CCU is DC-powered for field use, and the camera system can be controlled by Ikegamis traditional broadcast remote control panels. Its small size, light weight, easy operation and handling make it optimal for a number of applications where a very compact camera is essential.
The HDK-95C HD portable digital camera is a highly flexible addition to Ikegamis Unicam HD line. Equipped with Native multi-format 2.5 million pixel, 2/3 inch CMOS sensors, the HDK-95C has an upgrade path to 24p and 3G formats, including 1080/60p and 4:4:4 24p. Providing end-to-end digital processing, it features a low-profile docking camera head for fiber, triax, or wireless applications. As a member of the Unicam HD camera line, there is a range of CCUs, control panels, viewfinders, and other system accessories available to optimize the camera for the application.
Ikegami will also be exhibiting an advanced range of monitors at GV Expo. Making its debut will be the HEM-2570W, a 25-inch full HD OLED monitor. It represents Ikegamis next generation Grade-1 monitor, with high performance OLED panels. The HEM series ensures ideal reference monitoring for a wide range of outside and studio production applications. Highlights include support of 10 patterns x 10 scenes for user markers, a USB terminal for support of functions including auto setup, saving an image, full-screen capturing and mouse connection for menu navigation. In addition, audio functions such as speakers and headphone terminal are provided.
For Ikegamis HD Flat-Panel LCD monitors, recently added to the product line is the HLM-905WR 9-inch LCD monitor. This high-resolution compact monitor provides multi-format HD/SD SDI inputs, including two-channel 3G, and a one-channel analog composite input. It offers WFM and Vector displays, audio level monitoring, plus a USB connector for mouse control and file storage.
The 50 Series multi format HD monitors are high class displays providing wide critical viewing angles, built-in vector and waveform monitoring, and full 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Ikegamis 50 Series monitors include the HLM-3250W (32-inch), HLM-2450WB (24-inch), and HLM-1750WR(17-inch) models, all of which feature accurate color and gamma reproduction, embedded audio-level metering, time code reader display, and optional 3G-SDI inputs.
