Rotolight, the award-winning British LED lighting manufacturer, has announced that its newly launched studio and location LED, the Anova PRO 2, has been shortlisted for two awards. It is a finalist in the IABM BaM Awards 2018 and the Studio Daily Prime awards which will be decided at this year's upcoming NABShow, with both recognising innovation in the broadcast industry.
The Anova PRO 2 is making its North American debut at NABShow 2018, after its launch in the UK in November 2017. The LED is a pioneering continuous light and High Speed Sync (HSS) flash that redefines the standard for professional studio and location lighting.
The Anova PRO 2 has been shortlisted in the Create category of the IABM BaM Awards, and the Production category of the Studio Daily Prime awards, where the company is up against global brands including ARRI, Canon, Panasonic and Sony. This follows on from the Anova PRO 2 being awarded Gear of the Year by Pro MovieMaker earlier this year.
Due to its innovative design, the Anova PRO 2 is one of the brightest LED lights ever launched in its class, delivering 10,700 lux at three feet. The light also provides the best power to consumption ratio in the industry, and with a mere 72W consumption, reduces operating costs for TV studios, while providing unrivalled battery performance on location.
