The 43rd Annual Sports Emmy Award nominations were unveiled today, as ESPN led all network groups with 62 nods followed by CBS Sports (33), NBC Sports (30), Fox Sports (26), and Turner Sports (24), NFL Network (23), and HBO (18). The 12 nominations for NFL Network's NFL 360 are the most of any single program, trailed closely by NBC's coverage of the Tokyo Olympics. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) will award the winners at a live, in-person ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall on May 24.
Nominations were announced in 47 categories including Outstanding Live Special, Live Series and Playoff Coverage, as well as Outstanding Technical Team Remote and Technical Team Studio, and the George Wensel Technical Achievement Award.
Other network groups with multiple nominations include Netflix with six; Red Bull TV, Twitch, and YouTube TV with 5; MLB Network and Univision with four; UFC Fight Pass and NBA Social with three; and Facebook and Outside TV with two apiece. ESPN led all individual networks with 40 nominations, followed by CBS (27); FOX and NFL Network (22 each); NBC (20); HBO, HBO Max, and TNT (18 each); FS1 (16); ABC and ESPN (12 each), and ESPN Deportes (10).
As for nominations by program, NFL 360 (12) and the Tokyo Olympics (10) were followed by ESPN's E:60 and HBO's Hard Knocks with five; CBS's NFL Today, NHL on ESPN and HBO's Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel with four apiece; and another 10 programes with three nods each.

Today we honor these esteemed nominees and are overjoyed that, after this long absence, we will once- again gather together, in-person, to celebrate those who bring the thrill of competitive sports into our lives on a daily basis.

I am deeply looking forward to our first in-person sports ceremony since 2019 so that we can celebrate the groundbreaking accomplishments of the last year.
