Marieta de el Rivero, new independent in Cellnex Telecom Advisor La incorporaci n de Marieta del Rivero da cumplimiento a lo anunciado en la Junta de 2016 para incorporar a una nueva Consejera que reforzara el peso de los independientes en el Consejo, y tambi n como un primer paso en la l nea de avanzar en la diversidad de g nero en la composici n del mismo. The Board of Directors of Cellnex Telecom, y a propuesta de la Comisi n de Nombramientos y Retribuciones, ha acordado someter a la Junta de Accionistas que se celebrar el pr ximo 27 de abril, el nombramiento de Marieta del Rivero Bermejo como nueva consejera de la compa a en calidad de independiente.
La incorporaci n de la nueva consejera supone ampliar la actual composici n del Consejo de 9 a 10 miembros. Un cambio que se someter asimismo a la aprobaci n de la Junta.
De este modo el Consejo de Cellnex pasa a contar con cinco independientes que suponen un peso del 50% en el Consejo, superando el umbral establecido en las recomendaciones de Buen Gobierno de las Sociedades Cotizadas, a los que se suman los actuales cuatro consejeros dominicales y un consejero ejecutivo.
Marieta del Rivero cuenta con 25 a os de experiencia y liderazgo en el mundo de las tecnolog as de la informaci n y la comunicaci n, la movilidad y la industria y los servicios digitales, siendo uno de los perfiles m s destacados en el sector en Espa a. Tiene una amplia y probada trayectoria que va desde el gran consumo hasta los fabricantes y suministradores de hardware, pasando por los operadores de telecomunicaciones y la industria del software. Ha desarrollado su carrera profesional y responsabilidades ejecutivas en Telef nica, Nokia (Iberia y Corporaci n), Xfera M viles, Amena y Nefitel. Actualmente es Senior Advisor de Ericsson y es miembro de los consejos asesores de la incubadora tecnol gica Made in Mobile y de la consultora en transformaci n digital Roca Salvatella. Es miembro de la Junta directiva en Espa a de International Women's Forum y de la Women Corporate Directors Foundation.
Es adem s autora del libro Smart Cities, una visi n para el ciudadano en el que desarrolla sus ideas en relaci n al efecto de los procesos de urbanizaci n y transformaci n digital en las ciudades. Del Rivero es licenciada en Ciencias Econ micas y Empresariales por la Universidad Aut noma de Madrid. Ha cursado asimismo el Advanced Management Program (AMP) del IESE.
