Ibero-American film schools combine their voice in a Federation La sede permanente de Federaci n Iberoamericana de Academias del Cine (FIACINE) estar en la Casa Luis Bu uel de la Ciudad de M xico, y la Academia de Cine espa ola ser la sede para Europa de esta asociaci n.
Promover el reconocimiento de los cines iberoamericanos, crear nuevas audiencias, fomentar la presencia del cine en la escuela, facilitar los encuentros e intercambios entre los creadores y profesionales, favorecer el desarrollo de ofertas legales en el universo digital son algunos de los objetivos de la Federaci n Iberoamericana de Academias del Cine (FIACINE) que se ha constituido legalmente en el marco del Festival de Cine de M xico.
La sede permanente de FIACINE estar en la Casa Luis Bu uel de la Ciudad de M xico, y la Academia de Cine espa ola ser la sede para Europa de esta asociaci n integrada por las academias de M xico, Espa a, Brasil, Argentina, Colombia, Portugal, Paraguay, Ecuador y Venezuela, y de la Plataforma Audiovisual de Chile.
En 2013 representantes de las academias de Argentina, Colombia, M xico, Espa a y de la Plataforma Audiovisual de Chile iniciaron el proceso de constituci n de una federaci n para establecer mecanismos de cooperaci n que fortalezcan las cinematograf as de la regi n. Hoy esta iniciativa es una realidad que, seg n sus responsables, surge de la necesidad de aunar los esfuerzos de nuestras instituciones para promover la difusi n y conocimiento del cine iberoamericano a nivel de nuestras audiencias, intercambiar informaci n entre las academias con el fin de trazar objetivos de funcionamiento, fomentar la circulaci n y encuentro de profesionales de esta cinematograf a e impulsar actividades de alfabetizaci n audiovisual en el mbito educativo , entre otros fines.

Con la constituci n de esta Federaci n culmina el proceso iniciado en 2013 para estimular e impulsar el cine iberoamericano , destac Azucena Rodr guez, secretaria de la Junta Directiva de la Academia de Cine espa ola.
