El Gobierno regional, a trav s de la Consejer a de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes, organiza una nueva edici n de la Short Film Week of Madrid. En el que es su twenty-first anniversary, este certamen llegar a 68 municipios madrile os proponiendo proyecciones y actividades, que tendr n lugar del 1 al 7 de abril. Adem s, contar con Colombia as guest and surrender tribute to the director Arantxa Echevarr a.
El consejero de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes, Jaime de los Santos, ha presentado este martes, 12 de marzo, la XXI Semana del Cortometraje de la Comunidad de Madrid en la Casa de Am rica. Durante su intervenci n, De los Santos ha afirmado que este certamen promueve entre el p blico madrile o los valores de la cinematograf a y la importancia art stica del cortometraje .
De los Santos ha destacado tambi n la calidad de un certamen que es ya una referencia para realizadores, espectadores y amantes del cortometraje .
La XXI Semana del Cortometraje de la Comunidad de Madrid contar con la habitual Secci n Oficial Competitiva, adem s de un variado programa de actividades y talleres que permitir n acercarse y profundizar en los diferentes aspectos de la producci n y de la direcci n de cortometrajes. Adem s, el Cine Bellas Artes y la Sala Alcal 31 ser n sedes centrales de las proyecciones y actividades.
This year the event has Colombia as guest country and schedule a selection of short of the guests festivals Bogoshorts, uno de los festivales de cortometrajes m s importantes de Iberoam rica, que se desarrolla anualmente en Bogot .
Por otro lado, un total de 41 t tulos participan este a o en la Secci n Oficial Competitiva, todos ellos subvencionados por la Comunidad de Madrid. Estos cortometrajes podr n optar a los ocho premios Madrid en Corto, que aseguran la distribuci n durante un a o del cortometraje en festivales y eventos cinematogr ficos nacionales e internacionales. Adem s, los premios Telemadrid / La Otra repartir n un primer premio de 6.000 euros y otros cinco de 4.000 euros en concepto de pago de derechos de emisi n. Y la ECAM/Comunidad de Madrid dar su propio galard n, cuyo ganador entrar directamente en el listado de preselecci n de los premios Goya y podr utilizar las instalaciones de la ECAM para su pr ximo proyecto.
professional Forum In this years competition will also take place the Professional Short Film Forum, iniciativa que naci en 2017 para reunir a los profesionales del sector y este a o se consolida incluyendo actividades que promueven la colaboraci n y la generaci n de nuevas propuestas.
Entre ellas, destaca la presentaci n de proyectos para su coproducci n y distribuci n (pitching), incluyendo proyectos internacionales a trav s de un nuevo acuerdo con el programa de coproducci n europea Euroconnection. Adem s, habr encuentros de actores y directores y encuentros internacionales con el pa s invitado, Colombia. Asimismo, la Semana del Cortometraje contar con una amplia oferta formativa en la que habr talleres gratuitos y charlas sobre nuevas tecnolog as, producci n, guion, imagen, sonido y direcci n, entre otras tem ticas.
Arantxa Echevarr a Short Film Week will pay this year Arantxa Echevarria tribute to. Desde 1991, Echevarr a desarrolla su carrera profesional en la industria audiovisual, compaginando trabajos en publicidad y cine.
Ha dirigido varios cortometrajes que han participado en la Semana del Cortometraje: Panchito; Don Enrique de Guzm n; De noche y de pronto; El ltimo bus and Yo, presidenta. Con su primer largometraje, Carmen y Lola, ha ganado el premio Goya a la Mejor Direcci n Novel este a o y ha participado en la Quincena de Realizadores de Cannes.
