The AVnu Alliance is hosting a half-day education training session themed around Next Generation AV Network Fundamentals and Design' on February 8, 2016.
Held the day before the opening of ISE 2016 at RAI Amsterdam, the event will allow guests to further their AVB/TSN knowledge and qualify for 3 RU Credits, as AVnu Alliance is an official InfoComm International Renewal Unit (RU) Provider for Certified Technology Specialists.
During the training, AVnu Alliance members and experts will overview the evolution of Ethernet and explore how pro AV applications can take advantage of its latest capabilities.
The programme will be split into three segments, beginning with an introduction exploring digital networking and IP/Ethernet, before focusing on Network Topology, and closing with examining AV systems backed by installation and Audio Video Bridging/Time Sensitive Networking (AVB/TSN) system architecture examples.
It will be presented by Steve Carlson, an expert in networked systems and standards, alongside AVnu members including Christian Diehl, product manager for Intercom Systems with Riedel Communication.
The training will also include a demonstration of the Axon Digital Designs Ethernet AVB/TSN network backbone for broadcast video. It will be followed be a networking cocktail hour open to the public.
AVnu Alliance members will also participate in several presentations and a Master Class as part of the ISE 2016 show programme outlined below.
The training day will take place from 12:30 to 17:00 in room G107. Attendees can RSVP for the free event online.
