RT | Global Media Partner to Web Summit 2014 3rd November 2014: Providing the most comprehensive coverage across this three day event
RT is a Global Media Partner to Web Summit 2014 which takes place in the RDS, Dublin from Tuesday 4th - Thursday 6th November, and is expected to attract more than 20,000 national and international visitors.
As a Global Media Partner, RT s comprehensive coverage of the Web Summit will extend across television, radio, online and mobile and will include live coverage from the Main Stage on RT News Now and on the RT News Now App. RT will also broadcast and live stream content, throughout the Web Summit, from the official RT stand in the RDS Main Hall.
Consistent with the theme of creating engaging content, and making it as widely available as possible, RT will broadcast and live stream news and interviews direct from the biggest tech event in Europe, enabling everyone to avail of up to the minute access to latest from Web Summit 2014.
RT News Science and Technology Correspondent Will Goodbody will be there, across the three days, with news, views and interviews from all the industry main players in attendance.
As the doors open on the first day of the Summit, Morning Ireland's Rachael English will be broadcasting live from the event. Coverage continues throughout the day with reports on Morning Edition on RT One and Today with Sean O'Rourke and Drivetime on RT Radio 1. Sharon N Bheol in will co-present RT One's Six One News live from Web Summit 2014 on Tuesday with interviews from some of the key attendees, while RT News Now will also broadcast coverage throughout the event, including live broadcasts from the event's Main Stage.
M irne Laffan, MD of RT Digital will MC the Marketing Stage on Tuesday afternoon and Des Cahill will present a new addition to this year's line-up, the Sports Summit.
