
The new striking instalments come as part of audio specialist, Sennheiser's three year agreement as Westfield's Preferred Audio Partner, which will see the two giants work together to take the centre's audio and music innovation further, to enhance the retail experience for the 70 million visitors the malls enjoy every year.
Following the successful start to Sennheiser's preferred audio partnership with Westfield last year, the Sennheiser Blue Lounge will give the brand a permanent place for people to relax, try the latest Sennheiser MOMENTUM headphones and discover new music. The Blue Lounge chairs will have iPads and headphones built in, as well as a new kind of tactile audio technology by SubPac, encased in the chair's back rest cushion. The innovative SubPac technology transfers low frequencies directly to the body allowing users to feel the bass, enhancing the listening experience by adding a new physical dimension to sound.
All the tracks featured on the Sennheiser Blue Lounge app are original tracks from the Westfield Presents artists and each month there will be a new featured artist championed. The Westfield Presents platform gives up-and-coming independent talent as well as those from leading UK music and cultural organisations a unique opportunity to perform in front of large audiences at a variety of stages within the two London centres.
The bespoke Sennheiser app lets you search for music by genre as well as by the artist names and with over 1,000 artists signed-up there is no shortage of new music to discover. To further engage with visitors, there is also an option to sign-up to get free downloads, as well as chances to win Sennheiser products every month.
