Globos highlights for the LA Screenings debut in Costa Rica

From April 25th, the audience in Costa Rica are being able to closely watch one of the more successful telenovela by Globo. With the charm of disco music Boogie Oogie has premiered on Teletica and promises to be a big hit with its audience. Recently licensed for Canada and Chile, Boogie Oogie is one of Globo's highlights for the next edition of LA Screenings. The Teletica channel, which is already an important partner for Globo, will also broadcast the exciting story Parts of Me , another highlight of the market, in order to win its audience. The telenovela is scheduled to air on May 16th.

Directed by Ricardo Waddington ( Precious Pearl' e Brazil Avenue ), Boogie Oogie is set in the disco era and depicts the meeting between humble and hardworking Sandra ( sis Valverde, Brazil Avenue ) and rich and spoiled Vit ria (Bianca Bin, Precious Pearl ). Both of them, who meet because of a tragic accident, start fighting for the love of Rafael (Marco Pigossi, Gabriela'). What they don t know is that their paths had crossed before, when they were switched at birth. Full of love and secrets, the plot casts stars like Deborah Secco ( Irrational Heart'), Marco Ricca ( The Illusionist'), Alessandra Negrini ( Side by Side'), Helo sa Periss ( Brazil Avenue'), Let cia Spiller ( Precious Pearl'), Francisco Cuoco ( Sweet Mother' and Trail of Lies'). As for the sensitive and emotional Parts of Me', it tells the story of Miguel (Domingos Montagner, Precious Pearl'), a lonely and slinky man, who after escaping a tragedy from the past, goes back home and has his life turned upside down. He finds out that, in addition to having a son with the great love of his life, he is also the father of six other children. Then Miguel's search for his children's affection and respect begins as well as his attempts to win his true love back again. By the same author who wrote the successful The Life We Lead , this telenovela is set in the beautiful scenery of Patagonia, where its first scenes were shot. Parts of Me , which has already been licensed for the Albavisi n Group and for Israel, is also part of Globo's catalogue of productions for the LA Screenings.
