Ro MC Chosen by TV5 NEWS for Master Control

Tuesday, April 5th 2016 [Ottawa, Ontario, Canada] TV5 NEWS, one of India's leading media companies and its Satellite Telugu News Channel, has invested in MC1, Ross Video's dedicated master control solution, for their international feeds for USA playout.

We are using Ross' MC1 for our international feeds for USA playout where the content is different from our main channel, explained G. Srinivasa Reddy, Manager Technical at TV5 News. We wanted a product that was easy to configure and easy to use, with the core objective to run away from a complicated system and establish a seamless solution integrating with 3rd party equipment.

MC1 was the best solution for TV5, with the choice of control from both the DashBoard touch screen and the MC1 physical control panel. With the intuitive DashBoard Facility Control System, TV5 operators can design and build their own CustomPanels, or customize existing panels to the specific needs of their operation.

MC1 is now running in a 24/7 environment, and DashBoard operation has allowed us an easy transition, bringing us up to speed pretty quickly, continued G. Srinivas Reddy. We are happy with Ross Video overall and the installation and training by Ross' business partner Visual Technologies India was great. MC1 has allowed us a full-fledged master control switcher within budget.
