Business woman Nonku Williams, who stars in Real Housewives of Durban says she decided to stay celibate for a year to find herself.

NONKU WILLIAMS: I NEEDED TO FIND MYSELF' Nonku Williams, who made headlines this week after her man Dumisani Ndlazi gifted her a car tells True Love that she decided to be celibate for the whole year to find herself.

So, in September 2021 I decided to be celibate for the whole year. It is something that I was very intentional about, I prayed so much about it. The reason I chose this journey is because I was tired of everything, I needed to find myself again.

I didn't have time for me. I felt like I didn't allow myself to feel hurt enough. I felt like I needed to be with me and find myself. I needed to date myself because as people we grow over time, and we change especially in situations we experience. I realised that there was a time I couldn't recognise the woman that I was anymore and I needed to find me again. Thank God I managed to pull through.

She remembers going down on her knees and telling God that she is tired of dating and if there's someone out there waiting for her, he needs to find her.

I said to Him if there is someone out there that is waiting for me, then please help him find me but if not let me be content and either way let your will be done' I said I wanted to be happy, not just in dating but also finding things that I enjoy.

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DURBAN' STAR FINDS LOVE The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star's new man, Dumisani Ndlazi recently gifted her a brand new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 SUV.

According to True Love, the star met her partner in October 2022 during a business meeting.

He is a typical Zulu guy. He understands the type of a woman I am because I got to a point where I can tell someone that this is who I am and what I expect', it obviously goes both ways.

I was specific in my prayers and he came a year after. I said I want to wait a year' and I know it was not just a coincidence when I met him. He actually came in September [2022] just after I reached my goal.

But I didn't go out on dates to avoid temptations. So when I met my partner, it was during a business meeting. I didn't think it would get here and it took him about three weeks of him approaching till I gave in. I thought he was not my type because I didn't want a Zulu guy, but you know God works in mysterious ways.

I found someone who understands me, appreciates me, loves me, and more than anything we are happy together. He's been very patient and brilliant.
