Former The Queen actress Motsoaledi Setumo is both devious and hilarious as Naledi's older sister Tshedi Montsho in The Wife.

TSHEDI IS CARRYING THE SHOW' Though actress Motsoaledi Setumo's character Tshedi Montsho is hellbent on destroying fan-favourite character Naledi (Gaisang Noge) in The Wife, fans can't help but love her.

Setumo, who joined the third season of the Showmax telenovela revealed in an interview with Sowetan that viewers will love and hate her character.

My character Tshedi is one I haven't acted on before, I can safely say that the viewers are going to have a love-and-hate relationship with her.

In this week's episode (Thursday, 9 February) Setumo's devilish character attempted to destroy her sister Naledi's lobola negotiations by revealing to Sefako's (Stoan Seate) family that she has a sex tape with her ex-boyfriend Qhawe (Kwenzo Ngcobo).

When her father Kgosi (Sello Motloung) ordered the guards to lock her up in her room, she escaped and made another scene and revealing she hates her sister because she always gets her way.

Tshedi is jealous of her sister as she's her father's favourite daughter and is next in line to be chief instead of her, who's older.
