Einweihung des Digitalen Gr nderzentrums Mittelfranken in N rnberg
Spatenstich f r den Zollhof Tech Incubator - Schaeffler unterst tzt Gr nderzentrum
Gro artige Ideen, Mut, Unternehmergeist, Austausch und Teamspirit: das alles vereint der Zollhof Tech Incubator unter einem Dach, der am 26. Oktober in N rnberg eingeweiht wurde. Finanziell unterst tzt von Unternehmen wie Schaeffler finden IT-Start-ups hier die M glichkeit, ihre Ideen weiterzuentwickeln, umzusetzen, sich auszutauschen sowie ein Netzwerk zu Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Investoren aufzubauen.
Unter dem Namen Zollhof Tech Incubator wurde am 26. Oktober das digitale Gr nderzentrum Mittelfranken in N rnberg eingeweiht. Au erdem wurde der Spatenstich f r das neue Domizil am Zollhof durch Prominenz aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft vollzogen. Der Umzug von der jetzigen Interims-Unterbringung Kohlenhofstra e soll 2019 stattfinden. Ziel des Gr nderzentrums ist die F rderung der Digitalisierung der Wirtschaft. Finanziert wird diese geballte Kompetenz unter einem Dach unter anderen durch Unternehmen wie Schaeffler aus Herzogenaurach.
Ob Staatsministerin Ilse Aigner, Staatsminister Dr. Markus S der, FAU-Pr sident Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger oder BDI-Pr sident Prof. Kempf - sie alle betonten in verschiedenen Panel-Diskussionen die Notwendigkeit und die M glichkeiten einer solchen Keimzelle f r Innovationen im digitalen Zeitalter. Prof. Dr. Tim Hosenfeldt, Leiter Zentrale Innovation bei Schaeffler, f hrte aus, dass Unternehmen zunehmend partnerschaftliche Kooperationen eingehen, um gemeinsam die vielf ltigen Herausforderungen des derzeitigen Wandels stemmen zu k nnen. Gerade bei Start-ups k nne man ihre Kompetenzen, die Geschwindigkeit, Kreativit t und Flexibilit t nutzen. Denn zuk nftig werden die Schnellen die Gewinner sein , sagte er in der Panel-Diskussion.
Schaeffler im Forschungsnetzwerk
Schaeffler geh rt zu den Gr ndungspartnern des Zollhof Tech Incubator . Beide Partner profitieren nicht nur durch den aktiven und offenen Austausch in verschiedenen Veranstaltungsformaten wie Corporate Pitches, Hackathons, oder TechSpace Hackdays. W hrend Start-ups B rofl che, Coaching, Zugang zu Investoren und Unternehmen zu sch tzen wissen, kann Schaeffler Kompetenzen, R umlichkeiten und Ressourcen nutzen und sich zudem auch als attraktiver Arbeitgeber pr sentieren.
F r Schaeffler, in der Statistik des DPMA (Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt) mit mehr als 2.300 Patentanmeldungen auf Platz zwei der innovativsten Unternehmen, ist diese Kooperation ein weiterer Baustein in seinem weltweiten Netzwerk mit innovativen, externen Partnern. So arbeiten beispielsweise unter der Bezeichnung SHARE (Schaeffler Hub for Advanced REsearch) Studenten, Professoren und Schaeffler-Mitarbeiter an innovativen Elektroantrieben, neuartigen Energiespeichern, Digitalisierungsthemen und urbanen Mobilit tskonzepten. Solche SHAREs existieren derzeit an der FAU in N rnberg, am KIT in Karlsruhe und an Universit ten in Singapur und China.
Mit dem Gr nder-Campus Factory Berlin hat Schaeffler erst zu Beginn dieses Jahres eine Partnerschaft f r ein sogenanntes Innovation Hub unterzeichnet. Auch engagiert sich Schaeffler derzeit in rund 40 ffentlich gef rderten Projekten mit unterschiedlichen Konsortialpartnern in Themenfeldern wie E-Mobilit t, Produktionsprozesse, Industrie 4.0 und erneuerbare Energien.
Prof. Dr. Tim Hosenfeldt fasst die Ambitionen von Schaeffler zusammen: Wir wollen die Mobilit t f r morgen gestalten und mit zukunftsf higen, ma geschneiderten L sungen der bevorzugte Technologiepartner unserer Kunden sein. Unsere Kooperationen mit Gr nderzentren, wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen wie dem Fraunhofer Institut und Konsortialpartnern sind dabei ein wichtiger Schl ssel zum Erfolg. Gerade Start-ups bieten mit ihrer frischen, unkomplizierten und l sungsorientierten Herangehensweise oft bestechend einfache L sungen. Oft decken wir mit ihrer Unterst tzung thematisch auch Nischen ab, die wir hier im Unternehmen nicht so bedienen k nnen. Es ist ein gegenseitiges, partnerschaftliches Geben und Nehmen.
Der Zollhof Tech Incubator
Das Gr nderzentrum geht auf eine Initiative der Staatsregierung zur ck. Ziel ist die F rderung der Digitalisierung der Wirtschaft in den definierten Themenfeldern Information und Kommunikation, Medizintechnik, Neue Materialien, Elektronik und Sensorik sowie Automation und Produktionstechnik. Der Zollhof Tech Incubator hilft momentan schon 24 Startups, ihre Ideen zu entwickeln und auf den Markt zu bringen. Im Jahr 2019 ist der Umzug von der jetzigen Interims-Unterbringung am Kohlenhof an den Zollhof vorgesehen. Dann haben die Entwickler viel Platz auf 3.000 Quadratmetern auf vier Ebenen.
