John Torode and Lisa Faulkner series coming soon from ITV Studios Daytime

ITV Studios Daytime today announced a new cookery series with John Torode and Lisa Faulkner and more This Morning on Sunday episodes, both for ITV.

John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen (9x60') will see the couple host from a cosy modern kitchen every Sunday morning as they cook deliciously simple dishes. As they cook together they will also be sharing unique tips, neat techniques and tricks and of course, inspiring ideas for anyone who wants to cook, from keen home cooks to those starting out.

John Torode said: I am really thrilled and excited to be working with Lisa on our new show for ITV, our Weekend Kitchen will certainly be a great reflection of us working together on food and our style and chatting about things we love to do, made for Sunday morning viewing...

Lisa Faulkner said: I am really looking forward to working with John and I am delighted that we have been asked to make a programme together for ITV. It's a lovely series to be asked to present and even better that we get to share some of our favourite recipes and ideas with the viewers. I know we are going to have a lot fun making it

Executive Producer and Commercial Executive for ITVS Daytime, Sue Walton, said: John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen promises the ultimate in food inspiration for Sunday mornings. Their natural talent and chemistry together will ensure a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds, as well as achievability for viewers with the recipes.

Also for Sunday mornings and following a successful ten week run, This Morning on Sunday will continue, executive produced by Martin Frizell. The 10 x 60' series will feature highlights from the show that week alongside new and exclusive content.
