MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - December 3, 2015 - TVU Networks , the global technology leader in live IP video solutions, announces that Jeff Cohen has joined the company as a Senior Sales Executive, based in New York. Jeff will serve TVU's existing clientele in the Northeastern U.S. and pursue new customer opportunities.
Prior to joining TVU, Jeff was the Vice President of East Coast Sales for Archimedia Technology, Inc. He has an extensive background in all facets of broadcast technology from acquisition, media asset management, networking, and file-based workflows to post production and systems integration.
Because Jeff spent the beginning of his career in television production, he knows first-hand the affect TVU transmission technology has on every aspect of live production, said Paul Shen, CEO, TVU Networks. Jeff has a solid reputation of focusing on clients to produce strategic decisions that grow businesses within a rapidly evolving environment. He's extremely knowledgeable about a wide breadth of new technologies and knows how to advise companies to most effectively adapt to coming changes. We're thrilled someone with Jeff's expertise is on our team.
Jeff's other professional broadcast experience includes: Eastern U.S. and Canada Sales Executive for Sohonet, Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Masstech, and founder of Digital Imaging Solutions - a broadcast equipment dealer that was sold to Video Corporation of America. Jeff also held high-level positions at Sony, Avid, Electrosonic Systems, and BBC Systems Integration.
