
AMETIC and ICEX come to Spain to audiovisual infrastructures in Africa Directivos de los broadcasters p blicos de Angola, Kenia, Mozambique y Nigeria exponen en Madrid el grado de evoluci n y futuro desarrollo de las distintas plataformas de televisi n, los principales agentes de sus mercados radiof nicos y televisivos, las principales cifras macroecon micas sectoriales y las principales oportunidades de inversi n para las empresas espa olas.
AMETIC e ICEX han organizado una misi n inversa de infraestructuras del audiovisual de frica que se celebra esta semana en Madrid, y en la que est n participando altos representantes de radiodifusores p blicos de Angola, Kenia, Mozambique y Nigeria, pa ses con gran potencial de desarrollo en materia audiovisual.
Esta actividad se enmarca dentro del Plan de Infraestructuras del Audiovisual que de forma conjunta y a trav s de diferentes instrumentos promocionales, promueve un mejor conocimiento/acceso a los mercados africanos y que es fruto de la colaboraci n entre AMETIC, ICEX y su red de Oficinas Comerciales, en este caso en frica.
El primer acto de la delegaci n ha sido un seminario, celebrado en el auditorio de ICEX, donde acudi una nutrida representaci n de las empresas espa olas de Infraestructuras del audiovisual y RTVE, a quien se invit para que presentase la innovaci n sectorial del tipo disruptivo que est desarrollando a trav s de su aceleradora Impulsa Visi n RTVE.
Oportunidades para empresas espa olas
Los altos representantes africanos presentaron la situaci n del sector de la radiodifusi n en sus respectivos pa ses, ofreciendo informaci n sobre el grado de evoluci n y futuro desarrollo de las distintas plataformas de televisi n, los principales agentes de sus mercados radiof nicos y televisivos, las principales cifras macroecon micas sectoriales y las principales oportunidades de inversi n para las empresas espa olas.
Como aspecto m s destacado, se se al la apuesta por el desarrollo de la TDT que est n llevando a cabo estos cuatro pa ses, al igual que muchos otros en el continente africano, y donde existen numerosas oportunidades para las empresas espa olas. Esta apuesta es consistente con la naturaleza Free to Air de la propia TDT, en la que los ciudadanos reciben la se al en abierto y no tienen que hacer frente al pago por conectarse a una red para ver la televisi n. Esto tiene especial importancia en pa ses cuya renta per c pita y poder adquisitivo de los ciudadanos no es elevado y concentra su esfuerzo econ mico en otras necesidades.
Esta pol tica de apoyo a la protecci n a la TDT ya fue expresada en la pasada Conferencias Mundiales de Radiocomunicaciones de 2015 y compartida en la Regi n 1 por Europa. De hecho, se resolvi no volver a abordar la atribuci n de la parte baja de la banda de UHF y preservar s lo para servicios de TDT en toda la Regi n 1 hasta la Conferencia de 2023 ofrece garant as para el despliegue y continuidad del servicio.
El seminario termin con un acto de networking de los invitados con todas las empresas participantes, donde pudieron intercambiar impresiones y establecer contacto, de cara a futuras acciones.
La delegaci n africana, continuar su programa de trabajo en Espa a, con visitas no s lo en Madrid, sino tambi n en Galicia y Catalu a. Esta misi n representa un instrumento nico de promoci n internacional, para trasladar el potencial global de Espa a y la capacidad tecnol gica de su industria de infraestructuras del audiovisual, para dar respuesta a proyectos llave en mano de equipamientos de cadenas de televisi n y radio. De hecho, esta industria cuenta con una consolidada capacidad exportadora en mercados tradicionales como Latinoam rica y Europa, al igual que presencia activa en Asia y Oriente Medio, y desea aumentar su penetraci n en el continente africano.
