Former Gomora actress Zinzi Nsele, who played the role of Miss Madikizela, will be among those joining Gqeberha: The Empire season two.

NEW CAST MEMBERS Sunday World reports that actress Zinzi Nsele has joined Gqeberha: The Empire season two as Vuyokazi, while rising star Rorisang Mohapi will portray Lulama.
The publication adds that Nsele's character, Vuyokazi is as a moral compass and a junior police officer who is actively engaged in community policing.

She will become a key figure in investigating the Mxenge family's involvement in crime and will try to bring down the wealthy family's empire.
Mohapi's role, Lulama, who is Vuyokazi's daughter will bring a dramatic twist to the plot with her manipulative nature and obsession with Thulani, leading to intense twists and turns in the storyline.
Shirley Adonisi, who is M-Net's director of local entertainment channels reveals in a statement: We are beyond excited for Mzansi Magic viewers to experience the second season of Gqeberha: The Empire.

GQEBERHA: THE EMPIRE': RENEWED DStv confirmed in 2023 that the isiXhosa telenovela has been renewed for a second season after the introduction of actor Bongile Mantsai as Luzuko's brother, Hlumelo Mxenge and Oros Mampofu as the new Ntando Mxenge.
The much-anticipated season, which is already in production, will see some exciting changes and additions to the cast as well as a story line that will grip viewers' imagination and exceed expectations, said the channel.
The channel adds that season two will give renewed meaning to the word commitment' when the dynamics of the Mxenge family, their empire will have viewers wondering what is coming next.
Season two will begin on Monday, 15 January after the departures of Phila Madlingozi as the first Ntando Mxenge and Mbulelo Grootboom as Luzuko Mxenge.
