That's why we chose Archion's EditStor for our collaborative storage needs over Avid ISIS and other vendors that claim to do the same, he added. Realizing the large cost of an Avid ISIS system, Burgos was determined to learn about Archions EditStor platform. Chief among his requirements was transparent Avid project sharing for both his Mac and PC workstations so that his creative team and customers would not have to adjust their Avid workflow. Aside from the large savings and ease of use, Burgos was very pleasantly surprised to learn that EditStor delivered nearly three times the bandwidth as ISIS. Archion EditStor has enabled him to network all of his creative workstations together, which includes almost 10 Avid Media Composer workstations, Avid Pro Tools , Adobe Premiere graphic stations and DaVinci Resolve.

Media Sharing: Making it Easy and Affordable
The EditStor platform makes media sharing easy and affordable for creative professionals that work with Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools and Interplay , Adobe CC and Anywhere , Final Cut Studio , Black Magic DaVinci Resolve and other popular media creation tools. EditStor EO and ES easily facilitate the flow, conversion and management of media within the production workflow by offering the richest media management feature set for video and audio workflows available today, such as Avid project sharing, which is transparent to the Avid Media Composer system and doesn't affect the Avid workflow. All of this comes at a price that is very affordable, nearly one-third the cost of some competitive solutions.
A complete self-contained shared storage system, EditStor takes advantage of low-cost, standard Ethernet network protocols, while also delivering the highest performance over the 10GigE (and soon 40GigE). EditStor can now directly connect up to 16 Mac, Windows and Linux OS-based clients and an unlimited number of users can be connected to EditStor through standard Ethernet switch architecture without any intrusive drivers, installers or client licenses.
