Mzansi's second-most-watched soapie, Generations: The Legacy, has rubbished reports that actor, Andile Nebulane, is exiting the show.

Nebulane, who currently plays the role of Detective Pele Malinga, has also confirmed he's not leaving the soapie.

Rumours of his exit began when he hinted on his Instagram account that he's working on a new show.

There were also reports that Nebulane would be replaced by actor, Yonda Thomas, who's just joined the show.
He told the publication that he's working on two other projects and that it's normal for an actor to work on more than one show.
As an actor, I am not married to one show.
I am a freelancer and I have to work in order to get paid.
I am working on another local show and behind the scenes creating three others.
Nebulane, who launched his career overseas before returning to Mzansi said coming back home to establish a name for himself locally was challenging.

He told the publications that South African media houses referred to him as a newcomer when he returned.
The actor also states that TV shows wanted to offer him lower rates because he wasn't well-known.
Generations: The Legacy's publicist, Nandipha Phantsi also confirmed that the actor is not leaving the show.
Detective Malinga is part of the exciting storylines coming up in the new season.
Viewers will get to see a different side of the stern detective.
