HD broadcast solutions showcase at IBC --

Belden Inc., a company which specialises in signal transmission and HD broadcast solutions is exhibiting its products and services from 12 to 16 September at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2014 in Amsterdam.
Werner Eich, marketing manager for Belden Broadcast Connectivity EMEA said: Over the past 50 years or so, broadcast has come a long way. Now, as we prepare to take things to the next level, the hot topic is 4K technology. It is mentioned as the next High Definition and experts say that 2013 was the breakout year for 4K2K TVs, with a market forecast to reach seven million sets in 2016. At Belden, we are ready to support these and other technological advances in the professional broadcast industry.
New product innovations which will feature at IBC include:
Belden Duobond Plus HD Digital Video cables
Extending Belden s range of coaxial digital video cables and connectors, the new Belden Duobond Plus DNH series with bonded foil over the dielectric make the termination of Belden s 1-Piece HD BNC very easy and much faster than the traditional 3-Piece BNCs. They set the standard for reliability to deliver the performance required for HD, 3G and 4K video transmissions, with guaranteed signal integrity over longer transmission distances, helping to save both installation time and costs.
Belden SMPTE311 HD Camera Assembly
Belden has introduced a new high quality hybrid fibre SMPTE311 HD Camera Assembly that supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p. HD cameras provide digital transmission using SMPTE311 standard fibre optic cable for connecting to the camera control unit. In addition to their high quality, HD cameras can transmit all digital bi-directional video and audio signals, one control line, power line, and prompter line over extremely long distances - up to 4000 meters with Belden SMPTE311 HD Camera Assemblies.
