Editshare Ultra es una opci n compacta y de ultraligero dise o, orientada a trabajar con grupos peque os de hasta 4 usuarios concurrentes.
Proporciona una soluci n NAS a todas aquellas compa as que no necesitan un sistema de las caracter sticas de hardware de XStream o Energy pero al mismo tiempo , Ultra va a proporcionar todas las ventajas que ofrecen los sistemas de EditShare en un entorno de trabajo.
El nuevo Ultra de EditShare ofrece un sistema de almacenamiento compartido asequible con compartici n avanzada de medios y proyectos para editores de sistemas de edici n como Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro y Lightworks.
Adny Liebman, CEO y fundador de EditShare, ha asegurado que ya que Editshare Ultra ha sido desarrollado bajo la misma arquitectura que el EdistShare XStream, Energy y Field2, es sencillo soportar flujos de trabajo de v deo HD comprimido o SD sin compresi n. El precio atractivo ofrece instalaciones con un presupuesto ajustado siendo una opci n mucho mejor que un NAS de almacenamiento gen rico que, en muchos casos, no permitir la posibilidad de edici n en el lugar ni soportar un completo flujo de trabajo de compartici n de medios y proyectos .
Con Ultra, no hay sacrificio en cuanto a flujo de trabajo o a beneficios. Los clientes de EditShare Ultra obtendr n las mismas capacidades de compartici n de medios y proyectos encontradas a trav s de todos los productos de almacenamiento compartido de EditShare, en una configuraci n que soporta tanto sus flujos de trabajo como su presupuesto .

Ultra Peque o: con unas medidas de 21.5 x 21.5 x 30.5 cm, y un peso de tan solo de 7,3-9,1 kg (seg n configuraci n de discos)
Ultra silencioso: EditShare ha dise ado Ultra para ser casi totalmente silencioso, por tanto podr estar a unos escasos metros de la sala de edici n sin causar molestias. El ruido medio es de menos de 45Db cuando la distancia es inferior a un metro.
Ultra potente: Con 4 discos de 3,5 a 7200RPM, clase enterprise, discos SATA o SAS, Ultra puede soportar 6 streams de Pro-res HQ, DnxHD 220Mbits, 8 streams de ProRes 422,DNxHD 145Mbits, 24 streams en XDCAM/HDV/DV a 25Mbits. Opcionalmente se pueden comprar 8 discos de 2,5 SAS clase enterprise de 10,000RPM, con hasta 6Tb en Raid-5 y aumentando el rendimiento en un 66%.
Ultra incluye todas las prestaciones de Field2, Energy y XStream: todos los sistemas incluyen las mismas caracter sticas de compartici n de proyectos, que permiten trabajar a los editores en el mismo proyecto. A los usuarios de Avid, Edius, Lightworks, Final Cut, Adobe, Ultra les permitir el m ximo nivel de trabajo colaborativo compartiendo media y proyectos.
