ModOp Films announced today that it has signed 2014 Cannes Lion-winning director Juergen Bollmeyer. At ModOp Films, Juergen joins a roster that includes Paul Goldman, Scott Toepfer, Mat Humphrey, Steve Antin, Dana Christiaansen, KRONCK and Ram Baruch. The company also welcomes newly appointed West Coast Rep Marla Mossberg.
It's fabulous to find a director that has forged a career in two major genres from capturing the beauty of automotive to delivering compelling storytelling with global health brands. It's a testament to Juergen's collaborative spirit and exacting eye, says Rossi Cannon, ModOp Films Co-Founder/Managing Director. He won a Lion for his Health spot in 2014 for Stryker -- that spot was all shot in camera without vfx, I just love it, and obviously so did a lot of people. It's no small feat winning a Lion in such a competitive market.
Juergen's work has incredible depth, and is truly cinematic, adds ModOp Films Co-Founder/Partner Steve Schofield. He provides a new dimension to our growing roster, and we are excited to represent his talent in the U.S.

Having previously worked as a freelance copywriter for brands and networks, Juergen has a keen awareness of client side needs, and enjoys the collaborative process to create striking, authentic narratives.
I enjoy the dialogue and exploration that leads to executing a project, and unlocking the puzzle presented by each, explains Juergen. Its about genuinely speaking to people and sparking imagination. It's what I strive for with every collaboration and love about filmmaking.
From broadcast commercials to groundbreaking digital projects, Juergen's work has garnered numerous accolades, including the Art Directors Club Of Germany, The London International Advertising Awards, as well as several Gold Awards at the Us International Film Festival, the Grand Award at the New York Festivals for Mercedes-Benz, the 2014 Cannes Health Silver Lion and Bronze Clio, both for Stryker.
