Der global t tige Automobil- und Industriezulieferer Schaeffler blickt auf ein erfolgreiches erstes Halbjahr im Gesch ftsjahr 2015 zur ck. Wir haben im ersten Halbjahr 2015 unseren profitablen Wachstumskurs fortgesetzt und sind nun sechs Quartale in Folge gewachsen , sagte der Vorstandsvorsitzende der Schaeffler AG, Klaus Rosen-feld, am Donnerstag bei Vorlage der Gesch ftszahlen des ersten Halbjahres.
Die Schaeffler Gruppe erzielte im ersten Halbjahr einen Umsatz in H he von 6,7 Mil-liarden Euro. Dies entspricht einem Wachstum von 12,4 Prozent gegen ber dem Vorjahr. Ohne W hrungsumrechnungseffekte betrug das Wachstum 4,9 Prozent.
Der wesentliche Treiber der positiven Umsatzentwicklung war erneut das Automotive-Gesch ft. Mit einem Umsatzwachstum von 14,1 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr (w hrungsbereinigt 6,9 Prozent) bertraf die Schaeffler-Sparte Automotive deutlich das Wachstum der weltweiten Produktionsst ckzahlen f r Pkw und leichte Nutzfahrzeuge ( 0,8 Prozent). Die Sparte Automotive profitierte insbesondere auf den bedeutenden Absatzm rkten in Greater China und den USA von der weiter hohen Nachfrage nach ihren Produkten. Die Ums tze im Industriegesch ft konnten um 7,5 Prozent zulegen. Das Wachstum wurde vor allem in der Region Greater China generiert, wo sich vor allem die hohe Nachfrage in der Branche Windkraft positiv auswirkte. Ohne Ber cksichtigung von positiven W hrungseffekten sank der Umsatz der Sparte Industrie um 0,8 Prozent.
Alle vier Regionen der Schaeffler Gruppe verzeichneten ein Umsatzplus, wobei sich au erhalb der Eurozone W hrungseffekte deutlich positiv auf den Umsatz auswirkten. Die Wachstumsdynamik zeigte sich in den einzelnen Regionen sehr unter-schiedlich. Das h chste Umsatzwachstum erreichte die Schaeffler Gruppe in der Region Greater China mit einer Steigerung von 35,4 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 12,0 Prozent) gegen ber dem Vorjahr, gefolgt von der Region Americas, in der der Umsatz um 25,6 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 11,6 Prozent) zunahm. Die Region Asien / Pazifik verzeichnete ein Umsatzwachstum von 11,9 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt -0,7 Prozent). In der Region Europa lag das Wachstum bei 3,4 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 2,2 Prozent).
Das EBIT (Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern) der Schaeffler Gruppe stieg in den ersten sechs Monaten 2015 im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum auf 818 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 801 Millionen Euro). Die EBIT-Marge gemessen am Umsatz bewegte sich mit 12,2 Prozent weiterhin auf einem hohen Niveau, konnte jedoch an den hohen Vorjahreswert von 13,4 Prozent nicht ganz ankn pfen. Der Margenr ckgang im ersten Halbjahr 2015 ist neben Sondereffekten im Zusammenhang mit Rechtsf llen und der gesch ftsbedingt r ckl ufigen Marge in der Sparte Industrie auch auf unsere intensivierten Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivit ten und h here Vertriebskosten zur ckzuf hren , erkl rte Finanzvorstand Dr. Ulrich Hauck. Wir werden im zweiten Halbjahr verst rkt darauf achten, die Kostenentwicklung einzugrenzen und auf die weitere Umsatzentwicklung abzustimmen.
In den ersten sechs Monaten 2015 erwirtschaftete die Schaeffler Gruppe einen Cash Flow aus laufender Gesch ftst tigkeit in H he von 422 Millionen Euro (Vj.: minus 29 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsauszahlungen betrugen 501 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 298 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsquote (Investitionsauszahlungen im Verh ltnis zum Konzernumsatz) betrug 7,4 Prozent (Vj.: 5,0 Prozent). Im ersten Halbjahr 2015 ergab sich ein negativer Free Cash Flow in H he von 72 Millionen Euro (Vj.: minus 325 Millionen), der insbesondere durch Einmalaufwendungen im Zusammenhang mit der Refinanzierung von Euro- und USD-Anleihen belastet war. Die Einmalaufwendungen von 173 Millionen Euro entfielen im Wesentlichen auf Vorf lligkeitsentsch digungen, die Ende April im Rahmen der Refinanzierung bei der Abl sung bestehender, h her verzinster Anleihen zu leisten waren.
Die Zahl der Mitarbeiter ist zum Ende des ersten Halbjahres 2015 gegen ber dem Jahresende 2014 um knapp 1.500 Besch ftigte auf rund 83.800 angestiegen. Neueinstellungen von Fachkr ften erfolgten insbesondere in der Fertigung und den fertigungsnahen Bereichen, hier vor allem in den Regionen Europa und Greater China.
Um der verhaltenen Entwicklung des Industriegesch fts entgegenzuwirken und die Sparte mittelfristig wieder effizienter und profitabler zu machen, hat der Vorstand der Schaeffler AG heute ein Programm zur Neuausrichtung der Sparte Industrie verabschiedet. ber die wesentlichen Inhalte des Programms wird in einer gesonderten Pressemitteilung berichtet.

Trotz der verhaltenen Entwicklungen im Industriebereich sind wir zuversichtlich, dass wir unsere gesetzten Jahresziele - eine Umsatzsteigerung von 5 bis 7 Prozent auf w hrungsbereinigter Basis und eine EBIT-Marge von 12 bis 13 Prozent - erreichen , sagte Rosenfeld.
