VSN presenta en IBC la primera soluci n end-to-end en la nube Gracias a la instalaci n on cloud de cuatro de sus soluciones, VSN permite que las compa as audiovisuales puedan gestionar y emitir su contenido desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento, solo disponiendo de una conexi n a Internet.
VSN ampl a su apuesta por la nube y presenta durante IBC 2017 en su stand (7.D25) un ciclo end-to-end completo en el que sus soluciones trabajan a trav s de este nuevo tipo de tecnolog a. Gracias a la instalaci n on cloud de cuatro de sus productos (VSNOneTV, VSNCreaTV, VSNExplorer y VSNWebTV), VSN permite que las compa as audiovisuales puedan gestionar y emitir su contenido desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento, solo disponiendo de una conexi n a Internet.
As , el flujo de trabajo ofrecido por esta soluci n unificada de VSN permitir ofrecer tareas desde la planificaci n de la programaci n, pasando por la recuperaci n de la media y el env o a los v deos servidores hasta su posterior emisi n en diferentes pantallas. Todo ello, realizado desde la nube.
Adem s, esta instalaci n de las soluciones les ofrece otras ventajas como la escalabilidad que la tecnolog a cloud aporta a las instalaciones, de tal manera que siempre se adapta a sus necesidades concretas en cada momento.
Del mismo modo, el ciclo end-to-end en la nube permite a los usuarios reducir sus gastos gracias al nuevo modelo de pago por uso frente a un entorno similar basado en sistemas y equipamientos on premise. Junto a esta ventaja, el nuevo end-to-end en Cloud permitir tambi n suprimir la necesidad de instalar y mantener entornos on-premise, as como reducir los tiempos para que estos sistemas entren en funcionamiento, al no depender de otros elementos materiales.
Eficiencia en la nube
En concreto, este nuevo flujo end-to-end en cloud de VSN involucra cuatro sistemas diferentes de la compa a. En primer lugar, el software de planificaci n de la programaci n VSNCreaTV permitir ahora crear escaletas de programaci n en la nube. Posteriormente, el sistema VSNExplorer BPM ser el encargado de detectar de forma autom tica en estas parrillas todo el contenido previsto para emisi n y llevar a cabo la recuperaci n de dichos contenidos.
Por su parte, la soluci n VSNExplorer MAM podr incluso localizar y enviar al v deo servidor de emisi n el material ubicado en una localizaci n no accesible de manera online (por ejemplo, en un archivo profundo) y, si es necesario, transcodificar este material a los diferentes formatos de emisi n de cada canal. Adem s, permitir a los usuarios enviar alertas v a e-mail en el caso de que alg n material no se encuentre en las ubicaciones correspondientes.
En el video servidor del Channel-in-a-Box (CiaB) de VSN, VSNOneTV, tambi n instalado en la nube, se almacenar todo este material y se ir n cargando autom ticamente las escaletas generadas en VSNCreaTV. Adem s, este CiaB ser el encargado de completar las acciones de playout e incrustaci n de gr ficos antes de que se realice la emisi n o incluso durante la misma.
Entre las ventajas que ofrece el sistema VSNOneTV se encuentran la de gestionar la emisi n de varios canales de forma simult nea v a streaming y enviar stos a una plataforma de emisi n tipo WebTV, como el sistema VSNWebTV. Asimismo, tambi n puede realizar la emisi n de forma simult nea a trav s de canales de televisi n tradicional, gracias a un decodificador H.264 sobre red TCP/IP, que se encargar de transformarla en el formato SD-SDI o HD-SDI.
En lo que respecta a la emisi n de contenidos, esta podr realizarse tambi n en plataformas de video bajo demanda (VoD), gracias al sistema VSNExplorer que permite distribuir los contenidos catalogados con diferentes perfiles de streaming din mico (180p, 240p, 360i, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 4K ). De igual modo, VSNExplorer tambi n permite hacer llegar estos contenidos a otros canales de distribuci n de contenido, tales como las redes sociales.
Finalmente, cabe destacar que los usuarios tendr n acceso a informes anal ticos de todas sus emisiones para analizar el rendimiento y la monetizaci n de sus contenidos gracias al m dulo VSNExplorer BI. Estos informes ser n generados bien por defecto por la propia herramienta de Business Intelligence, bien de manera totalmente personalizada seg n los par metros y datos establecidos por el usuario y extra dos directamente de todos los sistemas de VSN implicados en este flujo de trabajo.
