El Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura lanza el v deo promocional del certamen, que se celebrar dentro de un mes en la ciudad de Santander.
La programaci n suma m s de 40 proyecciones, 17 conferencias de arquitectos, directores de arte y nuevas tecnolog as e incluir un sal n de experiencias de Realidad Virtual
Realidad virtual, cine y arquitectura se dan la mano en s lo cuarenta segundos y en un tono de post-ciencia ficci n en el teaser de FICARQ 2016, realizado por el director Zoe Berriat a.
El Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura da as el pistoletazo de salida a una programaci n que llegar a las salas de Santander dentro de un mes, del 28 de junio y el 2 de julio, con m s de 40 proyecciones, un panel con 17 conferencias de arquitectos, directores de arte y especialistas en nuevas tecnolog as y un Sal n de experiencias de Realidad Virtual.
FICARQ ampl a este a o su mbito tem tico al de las nuevas tecnolog as por ser ste el ecosistema ideal donde cineastas, arquitectos y directores de arte, principales protagonistas de esta cita, construyan juntos las nuevas formas narrativas audiovisuales. El resto del programa ofrece ficci n y documental, cine y arquitectura, en sus distintas secciones oficiales, con personalidades internacionales como el director de arte y especialista en efectos especiales John Bell (Regreso al Futuro II, Jurassick Park, Antz), el arquitecto portugu s Francisco Aires Mateus, la directora Fiona Tan, que estrenar en Espa a su largo Historys Future or the Brazilian Gregorio Graziosi with Work.
Dentro de la cinematograf a nacional, FICARQ contar con nombres como los espa oles Pablo Hernando (That feeling) y Miguel Llans (Crumbs) y con encuentros con los directores de arte Biaffra y Patrick Salvador.
En el apartado dedicado a los arquitectos, la parrilla de conferenciantes e invitados incluye a algunos de los creadores contempor neos m s destacados, como son Alfredo Pay , Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Jos Selgas, Cristina D az y Efr n Garc a de Amid.Cero9, Carmelo Rodr guez, Eduardo Arroyo, Sancho Osinaga, Juan Domingo Santos o ngel Borrego. Esta secci n dedicada a la arquitectura, elaborada por Richard Levene, ir acompa ada de algunos pases especiales como el estreno absoluto de Dificil simo. Puerta Nueva de la Alhambra, sobre el proyecto de Domingo Santos y Siza en la Alhambra, Guastavino, The architect of New York, de Eva Vizcarra, o el estreno en Espa a de la cinta experimental Invention, del canadiense Mark Lewis, con referencias a la arquitectura de Mies Van der Rohe y Oscar Niemeyer.
En la secci n oficial de documentales competir n 17 trabajos de diez nacionalidades distintas, entre los que destacan la australiana A place to call home, Silence the Argentine Sebasti n Pasquet or The Cupola del alem n Volker Sattel.
Dentro de las secciones informativas, se incluye un ciclo de cl sicos de las ciudades del futuro de la ciencia ficci n, desde Aelita to Brazil. Asimismo, talleres infantiles y las ceremonias inaugurales y de clausura, completan el programa de este a o que homenajear al maestro Carlos Saura, quien estrenar en FICARQ las primeras im genes de su esperado documental sobre Renzo Piano y el edificio del Centro Bot n que el italiano est construyendo en Santander.
