Gleichwohl entscheidet in allen Regionen der Welt der Fahrzeugantrieb ber die Energieeffizienz und Umweltvertr glichkeit von Mobilit t. Daher wird die Entwicklung energieeffizienter Antriebskonzepte auch k nftig Priorit t genie en. Eine konsequente Effizienzsteigerung und die intensive Elektrifizierung geben den technologischen Weg f r Antriebsarchitekturen vor. Dabei wird das Getriebe die Zukunft des Motors und die Gesamteffizienz des Antriebsstrangs beeinflussen.
Bereichs bergreifende Entwicklungsarbeit als Schl ssel f r den Erfolg
Das optimale Zusammenspiel der Einzelkomponenten ist k nftig ein entscheidender Faktor zur Verbrauchsabsenkung. Hier bietet Schaeffler der Automobilindustrie Vorteile, wie es kaum ein zweiter Zulieferer bieten kann. Ein Schl ssel f r den Erfolg ist die bereichs bergreifende Entwicklungsarbeit, bei der Schaeffler das Know-how aus den unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen zusammen bringt. Der Verbrennungsmotor, das Getriebe sowie die elektrischen Komponenten werden im Verbund betrachtet, um so gemeinsam L sungen zu erarbeiten. Als Beispiel ist hier die enge Verzahnung der Entwicklungsarbeit von Zylinderabschaltstrategien im Bereich des Verbrennungsmotors, der Auswirkungen auf den Steuertrieb und der notwendigen Beherrschung der ver nderten Drehschwingungsanregungen durch optimierte D mpfersysteme im Getriebe zu nennen , so Klaus Cierocki, Leiter Unternehmensbereich Motorsysteme bei Schaeffler. Das umfassende Produktportfolio f r L sungen rund um Motor, Getriebe und Fahrwerk erm glicht Synergien in der Entwicklung von kundenorientieren Produkten.
Optimierung des Verbrennungsmotors
Weiterhin einen Schwerpunkt bilden Ma nahmen zur Optimierung des Verbrennungsmotors. Neben der Reduzierung von Reibung - zum Beispiel durch hocheffiziente Beschichtungsverfahren im Ventiltrieb, durch Umstellung von Gleit- auf W lzlagerungen oder durch leistungsf hige Spann- und Entkopplungssysteme im Nebenaggregatetrieb - arbeitet Schaeffler unter anderem auch an der Einf hrung von w lzgelagerten Turboladern, der thermodynamischen Effizienzsteigerung und vielf ltigen technischen L sungen:
Thermomanagement: Ein wichtiger Baustein ist das Thermomanagement-Modul (TMM), das energieeffizient und pr zise den Motortemperaturhaushalt steuert und ein schnelles Erreichen des f r Motor und Getriebe idealen Temperaturfensters erlaubt. Parallel w re es auch in der Lage den Temperaturhaushalt von Hybridkomponenten und Batterien zu regeln. So wird zum einen die Kaltlaufphase durch Vollsperrung des Wassermantels deutlich verk rzt. Und zum anderen k nnen einzelne Komponenten gezielt hei er gefahren werden, als dies im Falle einer Thermostatsteuerung m glich w re. Damit wirkt sich das Modul auch positiv auf die Lebensdauer der Bauteile des Antriebsstrangs aus. Weiterer Vorteil: die Motortemperatur kann bei Volllast abgesenkt und so die Klopfneigung und Volllastanfettung reduziert werden.
Das macht das auf Kundenwunsch individuell anpassbare Modul zu einem Schl ssel f r eine Verringerung von Kraftstoffverbrauch sowie CO2-Emissionen. Nach den erfolgreichen Markteinf hrungen in Europa und Asien, wird diese Technologie 2017 auch auf dem nordamerikanischen Markt in Serie gehen. So ist die modular aufgebaute neueste Generation des Thermomanagment-Moduls kompakter und mit erweiterten Funktionen, wie der sogenannten intelligenten Smart-Aktuator Technologie, ausgestattet. Die Integration der Regelung in das Modul entlastet das Motorsteuerger t und f hrt zur optimalen Abstimmung aller Betriebspunkte. Im Zuge der Strategie In der Region f r die Region , wird Schaeffler das Thermomanagement-Modul zuk nftig auch auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent produzieren.
Variable Ventiltriebe: Von Phasenverstellern ber schaltbare Schlepphebel bis hin zum vollvariablen Ventilsteuersystem UniAir - Schaeffler bietet einen umfassenden Baukasten f r die Variabilit t im Ventiltrieb an. Ma geschneiderte Betriebsstrategien, wie zum Beispiel die Zylinderabschaltung oder spezielle Ventilhubverl ufe, k nnen so je nach Kundenwunsch realisiert werden. Mit der Serieneinf hrung der UniAir-Technologie begann 2009 ein neues Zeitalter der Ventilsteuerung. Damit setzte Schaeffler einen neuen Ma stab f r die Technik umweltfreundlicher und zugleich dynamischer Motoren. In Nordamerika wurden bis heute mehr als eine Millionen UniAir-Systeme produziert. Weltweit wird 2016 sogar die Zwei-Millionen-Marke geknackt. Das vollvariable elektrohydraulische Ventiltriebssystem UniAir steuert die Motorventile bedarfsgerecht und erm glicht eine nahezu beliebige Variation des Ventilhubs. Durch diese Technologie k nnen erhebliche Verbrauchs- und Emissionsreduzierungen ebenso dargestellt werden, wie auch eine deutliche Verbesserung der Drehmomentverl ufe.
Teil- und vollvariable Ventiltriebsysteme erm glichen auch die Abschaltung einzelner Zylinder w hrend der Fahrt. Damit l sst sich beispielsweise der Kraftstoffkonsum eines Achtzylinders durch zeitweiligen Vierzylinderbetrieb senken. F r die Deaktivierung bestimmter Zylinder kommen meist hydraulisch schaltbare Ventiltriebkomponenten zum Einsatz. UniAir vergr ert auch die M glichkeiten des situationsbedingten und bedarfsgerechten Motorbetriebs. So l sst sich auch eine rollierende Zylinderabschaltung ausf hren, bei der jeder Zylinder reihum stillgelegt werden kann. Das hat den Vorteil, dass die deaktivierten Zylinder nicht ausk hlen. Nach einem Kaltstart l sst sich dieses System zudem schneller aktivieren.
