Fujifilm opens Inspire Printing Photo Exhibition at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf

Director of NRW-Forum D sseldorf Alain Bieber and FUJIFILM Europe GmbH Managing Director Go Miyazaki and have jointly opened today Fujifilm s Inspire Printing Employee Photo Exhibition at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf.

Inspire Printing - Photo Exhibition With the Inspire Printing Photo Exhibition, Fujifilm presents 279 pictures made by European Fujifilm employees. The photo exhibition has been launched at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf today (on Thursday, 10th August 2017) and will last until 10th September 2017. Under the slogan 24 hours , Fujifilm employees from across Europe and beyond sent their pictures to participate in two photo exhibitions with just one shot. The global exhibition has already started to move across Japan and is now supplemented by the European exhibition at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf.

Photo Is - Japanese Exhibition Over the last decade, the so-called Photo-Is exhibition has become quite big in Japan and more than 280,000 pictures were collected in total over the years. More than 50,000 pictures have been collected globally in 2017. The Japanese photo-exhibition in the context of Photo-Is has already started to move across Japan since 14th July 2017.

This year all Fujifilm employees in Europe were invited for the first time to participate in both employee photo-exhibitions with their picture.

These Photo Events make all participants print out their own pictures - and that is exactly what we want photographer s to do with their imagery. With inspire printing Fujifilm wants to increase the awareness that both taking pictures but also printing pictures belongs to our photographic culture.

Moreover Fujifilm will utilize the opening ceremony to present also a new photo-imaging product called Shacolla . Therefore Fujifilm has prepared a dedicated exhibition-wall. For further information on Shacolla please visit the website www.fujifilm.eu/Shacolla

Any picture is worth being printed

Invariably all 279 submitted European pictures will take part in the public exhibitions in Japan and all these images will also be shown in parallel to the splendid exhibition "Erik Kessels & Friends" at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf. In the course of Erik Kessel s exhibition whom we all know as prestigious Dutch artist, our colleague s pictures will be presented at the same time in a separate Fujifilm display on the first floor at the NRW-Forum D sseldorf.
