The Hurricanes earned a hard-fought 34-28 win over the visiting Stormers in Wellington if you missed it don't worry we have the Super Rugby highlights you need .
The match began with the players of both teams linking arms in an emotional tribute to those slain in horrific attacks in Christchurch last week.
We were treated to an eight try thriller from Westpac with the boys from Cape Town starting stronger and going into the break leading 21-15.
In a see-sawing first half the Stormers opened the scoring with a brace of penalty goals from SP Marais before Ben May crossed for the Hurricanes to score the first try of the contest.
Jordie Barrett's try just after the Stormers had Jean-Luc du Plessis sent to the bin for a professional foul seemed to set the Hurricanes up to run away with it but a fightback was brewing. The Stormers scored through skipper Siya Kolisi after an excellent lineout drive. Another rolling maul gave the Stormers a try after the hooter that stretched their half-time lead to six.
In contrasting style the Hurricanes scored off a lineout by sending the ball wide straight away to Wes Goosen in space on the wing and he would cross in the 51st minute to allow Beauden Barrett to put them in front with the conversion.
The TMO was needed to award the Stormers their fourth try and Marais restored a six point lead with the conversion.
Goosen's second try went unconverted leaving the Stormers sporting a slender one point lead heading into the climax of the match but it would be Beauden Barrett's day as he cut through the visitors to score what proved to be the winning try and added the afters.
We missed a lot of tackles and when we had our opportunities we didn't take then, said Stormers captain Siya Kolisi. We weren't as physical as we wanted to be but we got better in the second half.
