Loopcloud, the cloud-connected application from Loopmasters designed for easily browsing, streaming and importing your samples, loops and sounds into your DAW has received a major overhaul.

The free Loopcloud 2.0 platform lets you audition the Loopmasters catalogue from your DAW, in sync with your projects. There's no need to open a browser or download and unzip anything. New for 2.0 is the Auto Keymatch function that automatically transposes loops making the auditioned samples fit your host project, regardless of their original key. When added to existing features such as the ability to drag original and re-pitched, time-stretched and sequenced audio directly into your DAW, and this has the potential to be a very useful tool.

Loopcloud 2.0 now connects to your DAW automatically, updates on its own and works 4 times faster than the original version.

One of the things that sets Loopcloud apart from other similar approaches is the fact that is it can be used without a subscription. The software is free and lets you pay for individual sounds, folders and packs as you go. The currency used is credits', 500 of which will be added to your account when you sign up. What's more, until August 1st, all users will receive double credits on their first purchase. If you just want to give it a go without spending anything, you also get 150 free sounds every week just by opening the app.
