Televes deploys an IPTV television distribution system in one of the largest Buddhist temples in ailand

With capacity for more than 100,000 people, the Dhammakaya temple is one of the largest religious centers in Thailand. It is located in the north of Bangkok, on a 791 acre property, and is the reference point of the Buddhist followers of the same name. It was built in the 80s as a symbol of peace for mankind. For this extraordinary complex, Telev s has designed and deployed a telecommunications infrastructure that includes distribution of television services over Internet Protocol (IPTV), viewing points in all areas, CCTV, public address sound system and access control system. The temple has its own TV channel production, that has also been integrated in the project.

Televes Corporation has worked with its official integrator in Thailand, Patararungroj, to deploy the equipment and systems within the numerous buildings in the complex.

Given the special significance of the place, the Dahmmakaya project has represented a real challenge to Televes ability to adapt Hospitality solutions to customer needs.
