Albis Technologies announced today that it will team up with SPB TV, one of the world s leading providers of end-to-end OTT, IPTV, and mobile TV solutions for video content delivery to multiscreen devices, at CSTB 2015 held Jan. 27-29, in Moscow at booth 4-515A. During the show, Albis Technologies will demonstrate complete integration between its SceneGate(TM) 9090 set-top boxes (STBs) and SPB TV s Multiscreen Solution, enabling telco and Internet service providers to deliver a game-changing television experience and increase their revenue streams.

SPB TV s Multiscreen Solution is a smart, modular solution for multiscreen IPTV and OTT video delivery and playback across all screens including smartphones, PCs, and traditional TVs. The solution includes a video delivery platform for content ingest, encoding, and adaptive streaming; a middleware platform that connects a service provider s delivery infrastructure with a client and integrates those with billing, CMS, and other systems; and client-side software. By offering a complete turnkey solution together with Albis Technologies STBs, SPB TV enables service providers to rapidly launch TV Everywhere services.

Albis Technologies SceneGate 9090 is a sophisticated HD IPTV STB that delivers linear TV, VOD, OTT, and PVR services from a compact design. Unlike standard STBs, the SceneGate 9090 includes significant memory, processing power, and a dedicated GPU, all of which enhance the user experience by allowing them to engage with a variety of feature-rich applications. Capable of delivering HD resolution of up to 1080p via an HDMI(R) 1.4a interface, the SceneGate 9090 is also 3D TV ready, enabling service providers to deliver a more premium service offering. In addition to supporting cutting-edge applications and customizable user interfaces, the SceneGate 9090 allows end users to connect accessories easily -- such as wireless dongles, keyboards, and storage devices -- to the STB, achieving a connected multimedia experience.
