Crocodile tears? RHOD's' Sane and the ladies make peaceControversial chef Sane has finally apologised to the #RHODurban cast members after a bad first impression.

It has been a rollercoaster ride for the ladies on Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) since the introduction of new friend of the show, lifestyle blogger and private chef Saneliswie Sane Bhengu.

When she arrived, Sane had beef with almost all the cast members and she did not regret ever provoking any of them. These include season three edition Slee Ndlovu, returnee Annie Mthembu and season two's Londie London. After Nonku Williams, Mbali Ngiba and Maria Valaskatzis confronted her for verbally attacking the ladies, no peace was made and Sane had not apologised for her mean girl energy .

MARIA DEFENDS SANE However, this all changed in the sixth episode which aired on Wednesday, 8 March, when Maria invited the ladies for her Greek Goddess get-together. The event was attended by all the ladies, except Mbali. Sane, who was also invited, showed up late instantly changing the mood.

She was immediately confronted by Annie about her claims that she slept her way to the top when she fell in love with her husband and business tycoon Kgolo Da Guru Mthembu. An upset Annie stormed out, followed by Sorisha Naidoo (or as Nonku called her, Annie's puppy).

This angered host Maria who said that she had invited Sane to her event to make peace. Maria expressed that she knows a different and sweet Sane.

The way everybody talks about Sane is not the Sane I know. Sane is very different [when] with me. Sane has always been involved in women's empowerment Even the last time I had a chat with her she was warm, and she opened up. You see a softer side in her.

Give the lady an opportunity to start on a new slate. We can't always be holding people accountable for their past, she told the remaining ladies.

Maria then gave Sane a gift, similar to the one she had given all the other ladies.

The two ladies embraced as Sane sobbed and thanked Maria.

I love you so much. You know my heart, Sane said.

THE LADIES BURY THE HATCHET Sane then proceeded to apologise to the other ladies: I want to take this opportunity to say I'm very sorry if I've ever offended anyone if I've ever said anything to anyone. I'm not going to try and justify or say it is because of this and that. I'm going to take full responsibility for my actions the way that they are.

However, Jojo said during her diary session that she felt nothing as the chef cried.

After individually apologising to Slee, the mom-of-two said that she accepts Sane's apology. Nonku also apologised to Sane for judging her.

I think I need to apologise to you. I judged you. I should've known better [because] I've been judged. I saw you as this evil witch Still, I do understand Annie and I wish to God that she gets to know this side even though I've seen a little but you are human after all, Nonku said.
