First officially launched for the iPhone in April, the GoCoder app easy set up and ability to quickly stream video has drawn the interest of professional news organizations and law enforcement agencies in need of a fast, branded mobile recording solution. The intuitive, contextual interface lets users choose video filters, manual bitrate settings, and HD settings up to 720 kbps. Touch-to-focus and touch-to-expose capabilities keep videoing agile while users on iPad 2 and iPhone 4 or newer can utilize torch mode for constant lighting. The GoCoder app broadcasts HD content from any location to any device using H.264 video, AAC audio, and adaptive bitrate streaming.
