AP Entertainment Now program celebrates 1000th episode LONDON -- The Associated Press is celebrating the 1,000th episode of Entertainment Now. Running for almost 20 years, the weekly show includes the best of AP's high-definition entertainment video including news, fashion, features, music and movies. It also features major calendar events such as the Oscars, BAFTAs and high-profile film festivals.
Entertainment Now has covered every important show business event, from the Rolling Stone's 50th anniversary concerts, to the untimely death of Michael Jackson, as well as documenting the success of the Harry Potter, James Bond and The Twilight Saga franchises and South Korean artist Psy and his Gangnam Style dance craze.
Theo Erasmus, director M-Net general entertainment and customer of Entertainment Now said: M-Net is proud to have broadcast Entertainment Now' from its early days. The show has delivered engaging entertainment news and interviews - featuring faces from various international events - at the high level of quality that the channel is known for.
Ideal for broadcasters without in-house production facilities, Entertainment Now provides a ready-to-air roundup of the best stories worldwide. Programs are produced in flexible formats and can be re-voiced, subtitled or modified so that customers can add their own presenter. They can also be edited to individual stories or used for mobile apps.

The show will also soon be available to digital publishers via AP Video Hub, a new state-of-the-art video delivery platform. AP Video Hub customers include the Wall Street Journal the UK's Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail.
