Solutions for protecting sensitive information against the growing reat of cyber attack

Thales is presenting its most advanced cyber security solution, CYBELS

It will also be showcasing TEOPAD, its innovative security solution for smartphones and tablets

On 12th March, Thales will be attending HOMSEC (the Security and Defence Technologies International Exhibition) and will be presenting its security solutions for communications, maritime security and protection for armed forces. Thales aims to confront the challenges we face today, both in the sphere of cyber security and cyber defence and in conventional scenarios: land, sea and air.

Thales, a trusted and leading actor in cybersecurity

Thales will be showcasing CYBELS (CYBer Expertise for Leading Security), its most advanced cybersecurity solution. CYBELS is a modular and flexible solution designed to protect critical information and communication systems against cyber threats by anticipating, preventing and responding to attacks in a timely fashion.

Thales created CYBELS in order to protect the information and communication systems of administrations and government bodies. CYBELS offers the State security forces and organisations a suite of solutions that allows them to efficiently combat cyber crime and cyber terrorism.

CYBELS offers various services such as the 24/7 supervision of information systems through a cybersecurity operations centre. It offers police, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators the solutions they need to combat cyber-attacks.

In order to achieve this, it is essential to be able to compile and merge large volumes of information of a varied nature and from a variety of sources. CYBELS is supported by a specific tool called CYBELS View. It facilitates decision-making in the event of computer attack, and we know from experience how quickly such an attack can spread and how complex analysing it can be.

Thales will also use this exhibition as a springboard to showcase TEOPAD, an innovative security solution for smartphones and tablets. The solution provides a dedicated secure execution environment for business applications which ensures sensitive data protection, storage and transfer. TEOPAD was specifically developed by Thales to address all the security and productivity issues associated with mobile devices, without restricting the user during daily operation of the terminal - whether tablet or smartphone - as both a personal and professional device.
