Generations: The Legacy': Fans bid farewell to Oby PhakadeTshidi, Ayanda and Kumkani have won the battle but is the war over? Oby left the show on Friday 20 August, but she and Kumkani are still married

Oby (Khabonina Qubeka) packed her bags and took the first flight out of the country on Friday after she lost her powers.

The trio Tshidi (Letoya Makhene), Ayanda (Samela Tyelbooi), and Lucy (Manaka Ranaka) managed to neutralise her by giving her a spoilt liver.

Once she lost her powers, she lost control of her husband Kumkani (Vuyo Dabula) and Ayanda who were under her spell.

Kumkani has no memory of what happened or what he's been up to since he married her and he's back to his old self.

THE WITCHCRAFT STORYLINE Viewers were already annoyed with the storyline with some threatening to complain to the BCCSA (Broadcast Complaints Commission of South Africa).

Though the actress is not mentioned throughout September's teasers, and has exited the show she is still married to Kumkani.

The ladies managed to swap Ayanda's liver with someone else's so that Oby can lose her powers.

Ayanda and Kumkani were about to kill Tshidi on Friday before they finally snapped out of Oby's hypnotism.

QUBEKA'S INTERVIEW ABOUT OBY The actress told Sowetan that she's even been preparing for her role on the show for a very long time.

She was excited to play Oby as she has a certain power and did a lot of research to find ways to make her character relatable.

Viewers might have noticed that the actress shied away from mimicking the Nigerian accent even though Oby was Nigerian.

I decided to shy away from that because it can land one in a lot of trouble.

So I kept her simple yet respectful and powerful because she is well respected where she comes from.

I can't wait for viewers at home to meet her and I hope people at home will resonate with her.

Hope this is the end of this liver witchcraft. We are tired
