
Sennheiser Electronic Asia (Korea Branch) will work together with local sales partners to develop the Korean market and serve customers in the consumer electronics, professional systems and integrated systems market segments. Ng Chee Soon, President & Managing Director of Sennheiser Electronic Asia will oversee the Korea Branch operations.

In conjunction with the official opening, Sennheiser Electronic Asia announced its goal to grow its market share in Korea by expanding its sales channels, working with its local partners to open new innovative concept stores and corners, raising its brand visibility, and enhancing its end user customer engagement programs.
Ng Chee Soon said, We doubled our revenues in the last four year. During this time, we grew our shares in the headphones market significantly and reinforced our professional audio leadership positioning, especially in the broadcast and performance venues segment. We are confident that we are on track to meet our goal.
In the last three decades, Sennheiser has earned a reputation as a premium acoustic specialist among its Korean corporate customers and professional artistes. Over the years, it has been seeing consistent business growth in the local professional audio market, securing valuable long-term customers including the country's major broadcast stations, large-scale performance and arts venues, as well as leading artistes in the country. Its key microphone systems include the evolution wireless G3 series, the 2000 series, 3000/5000 series, the MKH 8000 studio range, the Neumann TLM condensers, and the latest wireless masterpiece, the Digital 9000 series. The company also recently introduced Esfera, a brand new surround microphone system.
The premium headphones market in South Korea is another key market segment for Sennheiser. Since re-launching its premium headphones offerings in 2009, Sennheiser has achieved a double-digit annual sales growth rate and multiple-fold of market share expansion to become among the top headphones brand in South Korea. Particularly, Sennheiser's premium range of consumer audio products such as the HD 800, HD 700, IE 800, HDVA 600 and the latest award-winning MOMENTUM series are currently popular in the Korean market. This demonstrates the company's continuing ability to lead through innovations. To date, Sennheiser's extensive portfolio of headphones and earphones are available at more than 300 retail stores around the country.
On top of its premium product offerings, Sennheiser has been offering premium services for audiophiles to enhance its thought leadership as a premium headphones brand. The company currently offers a two-year product warranty for all its consumer audio products, currently the longest warranty period in the industry. In addition, highly qualified engineers at the Sennheiser service centre provides high quality after-sales services.
Sennheiser also provides a set of premium services under its Sennheiser Concierge programme which serves customers who purchase its premium range of audiophile products. This includes door-to-door collection and delivery of products for repair and servicing in Seoul. The company is planning to introduce and upgrade its customer services programmes and to enhance its service capability over the next few years.
