Entrepreneur and business school graduate puts his professional life on hold to find love when the series returns to City this fall
Bio, photography, and fun facts available atRogersMediaTV.ca
TORONTO (April 17, 2014) He's as Canadian as maple syrup and twice as sweet Toronto-based entrepreneur Tim Warmels begins his search for true love when Season 2 of the hit original reality series The Bachelor Canadapremieres this fall on City. The highly anticipated reveal was made earlier this morning to fans across the country on Breakfast Television, Rogers radio stations, BachelorCanada.ca, Flare.com, and in the current issue of HELLO! Canada, on newsstands and Next Issue Canada now.
Born and raised in the small countryside town of Campbellville, ON, 28-year-old Warmels is as handy with a horse as he is with a hockey stick. A down-to-earth, all-Canadian guy who isn't afraid to roll up his shirt sleeves and get his hands dirty, Warmels is ready to put his professional life on hold to find the one thing missing from his personal life that special someone to share it all with.
A highly motivated student with a keen mind, Warmels graduated with honours from one of Canada's top business programs the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario before moving to Toronto to prove himself as an investment banker on Bay Street. Warmels is now a successful entrepreneur with a number of tech ventures and his own boutique contracting business. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, travelling, modelling, and working with his hands building custom furniture and renovating his home.
"Season 1 paved the way for Canadian bachelors to come forward and embrace this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find love and Im honoured to have been chosen," said Warmels. "My parents have shown me what unconditional love truly means and I am ready to find the one person with whom I can share that. I have so much respect for the 25 amazing women who are putting it all on the line to go on this journey with me and I cant wait to meet them."
A thrill-seeker at heart, Warmels is looking ahead to his biggest adventure yet on The Bachelor Canada. He is searching for a woman who is happy in her own skin, driven, ambitious, and wants just as much out of life as he does someone he can call his best friend. He comes from a close-knit family with an older brother and two loving parents who have been married for more than 30 years.
Tim is the perfect catch and we are confident that our bachelorettes and our viewers will wholeheartedly agree. Beyond his model good looks, he is a well-rounded man who exudes personality, intelligence, and strong values, and is ready to settle down with the woman of his dreams, said Nataline Rodrigues, Director of Original Programming, Rogers Media. We are thrilled to have Tim in this pivotal role and look forward to seeing how his story unfolds.
Footage of this morning's bachelor reveal on Breakfast Television will be available at BachelorCanada.ca. Additionally, beginning at 12 noon ET today, this clip will be available via an embeddable customized video player. To obtain the embed code, please see media contacts at the end of this release.
Fans can also learn more about Tim by connecting with him via Twitter at @BachCanTim and Instagram at @Timbo0505. Plus, warm up to Warmels with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at his HELLO! Canada photo shoot at HelloMagazine.ca.

Additional details, including the identities of the 24 remaining bachelorettes who will join previously announced Canada's Choice' bachelorette, Raelee, will be announced in the coming months.
