Scenic spots and hotels around Ningbo have launched various special offers for tourists during the New Year Festival, and a batch of cross-year activities will be held on January 1st to attract more tourists.
Songlan Mountain Tourism Resort
A temple fair will be held in the Nituo Temple in the Songlan Mountain Tourism Resort on January 1st, where tourists can hear the first bell of the temple in 2015. Tourists can also enjoy vegetarian dishes after the fair if they make a reservation in advance. Tourists whose birthdays are on January 1st can enjoy free trips with their IDs or valid certificates on the New Year Day. Besides, elderly citizens over 60 and children below 1.5 meters will be exempt from the ticket fee accompanied with 2 adults who have bought tickets to the scenic spot. The Haijing Hotel inside the Songlan Mountain Tourism Resort will also launch a buy-one-get-one-free activity for standard rooms and big-bed rooms.
Xiangshan Movie and TV Town
More than 20 performances will be presented during the New Year Festival in the Xiangshan Movie and TV Town. Besides, tourists can enjoy half-price tickets to the town by booking them through their official WeChat account during the month of January. In addition, tourists purchasing tickets to the Xiangshan Movie and TV Town and the China Fishing Village online will enjoy a free room for one night in the Sunshine Coast Hotel during the New Year Festival.
Zhaobao Mountain Scenic Spot
Tourists who purchase the tickets to the Zhaobao Mountain between January 1st and January 2nd will have the opportunity to be placed in a drawing for a free airplane ticket on January 3rd. Meanwhile, a series of activities with a fairy tale theme, and prizes on offer, will be held in the scenic spot during the New Year Festival.
Baoguo Temple
The Baoguo Temple will hold an online activity that offers 10 free special souvenirs every day during the New Year Festival. Citizens can attend the activity by posting a Sunshine in winter-we are in the Baoguo Temple -themed family photo taken in the Baoguo Temple on Weibo by directing the message @ the official Weibo account of the temple.
